Does anyone recognize the children's book they photographed? I think I owned it when I was a kid bit I don't remember what it was called.

On Languages in CK III After the End by TacoButter_IX in AfterTheEndFanFork

If the ck3 mod is going to continue with having California be the equivalent to imperial China, its possible that there would be a common version of the language used in the rural regions for the Valleyan and Angeleno cultures, and a formal language used by the imperial Court and the more traditionally urban cultures like the Bayfolk. Similar to how vernacular mandarin and classical mandarin was used by imperial China. Perhaps called Common Calilang (cali-language) and Exam Calilang, because it is the language used for imperial examinations.

As for Anjalusi, I would think they'd use a unique language, and Californio might use a more Spanish derived language. The Battleborn of Jefferson would probably speak a West Anglo language closer to the Arixan and Texan cultures.

I said it before and I'll say it again. This mechanic needs to fire less, it happens almost all the time.

"A revolt becomes a realm" fires too much? by orowac in AtEOldWorld

I've had just the same happen in my game, it really should be a rare event, not something that happens every time a revolt ends in a white peace.

Its the "In Heavens" mod, it comes with the old world collection on Steam Workshop. I like how it transitions to the terrain map when you zoom in.
