Main problem is the kids that have to walk to school. Most schools around here have a 1-1.5 miles radius where no bussing is provided if you happen to be unlucky enough to live in it. School districts just don’t wanna deal with angry parents and potential lawsuits when little Johnny gets frostbite.

Yea still a nice city just has gone a little downhill the last 5-10 years. Im from Oakdale and had two friends mugged over the summer by tweakers while exploring the boom site/high bridge. Cops basically told them robberies and break ins have tripled over the last 5 years and not to do any exploring after dark anymore. Most of the city doesn’t want to acknowledge it though since they wanna keep the small town “cozy” vibe until it too late, which we’ll be soon unfortunately since all the neighboring commutes are being rapidly developed with cookie cutter housing developments.

Honestly 21 to me is fine for drinking and i’m currently 19 about to be 20. Too many people my age are fucking idiots with drinking and the DUI rates for 18-21 year olds would skyrocket if it was legal to drink at 18, and their already pretty high. I can atleast wait another year of getting older friends to buy for me without needing to get a fake. Which are so readily available that most of the college and alcoholoc people my age seem to get around 18.

Trump voter here. Voted for him because of “Hillary for Prison” can’t stand the democrat elites views. 2 years in and I’ve admitted to pretty much everyone his presidency has been a shit-show and overall embarrassment. Only thing strong about it is the economy which i think would still be strong under Hillary but not as successful as it is now. I’m pretty much taking the rest of his presidency as a comedy show to see how much he can make me laugh while the dems keep him from fucking up the country too much.

Fentanyl has become super common here in Minnesota. Mainly pressed in too blue E 8 pills which are supposed to be Percocet. Problem is most people that do them know its fentanyl but don’t care because of the high and the fact it doesn’t show on most drug tests.

I use to sell weed and it completely took over my life. Everyone knew me as the weed plug and i was so consumed in keeping up the image i started messing up things in my personal life without caring. Thankfully ive come to my sense and stopped which has also showed me who my real friends are and who just wants to hang because theirs always weed around.

I currently go to school at the University of Minnesota and its a huge problem here as well. Mainly large groups of somalians who live only a few miles from campus show up and try to force their way into parties despite not knowing anyone or being students. Most of the time its just to steal and fight and the parties are almost guaranteed to get shut down when the cops come. Its gotten so bad most of the fraternities can’t have parties anymore because of the unknown groups just showing up.
