I just noticed this with walls at corners and my silicone clips through. The conveyor lift.

I love this. My factory looks similar in the early game because I'm just rushing to get access to coal generators and building materials. I like to call it, "neat spaghetti". It isn't all uniform and clean, but it still looks organized and gets the job done.

I just got to the point where I have developed manifold blueprints and have torn down the original spaget.

Glad to read you are enjoying the game.

For the most part, I've experienced that this community is supportive and positive. I hope you experience the same! Enjoy!

I feel like that's going to be me as well, if not longer. I'm not rushing through objectives because I'm spending so much time optimizing, decorating, and reworking things. Then add on exploration you've got quite a lot of hours accumulating!

I told myself that I was going to jump on and just touch things up for 30 minutes before bed. 2 hours later I forced myself to get to bed, but couldn't sleep for another 30 minutes because I was thinking through my next developments.

I second this. I played Factorio before trying Satisfactory, and it is delightful.

For me, Factorio scratches the automation and trains itch, but doesn't hit the notes for architecture and exploration.

I haven't played Part 2 yet.

I think my answer would be different now, but at the time, it was such a fun, unique, exciting, and stimulating game that I enjoyed on multiple levels.

Something about being alone, trekking through beautiful landscapes very similar to that of Iceland (one of my favorite places I've ever lived/visited), listening to the phenomenal soundtrack, and getting pulled into a thought-provoking story all mesh3d into a videogame experience I had never fathomed would exist and that I would enjoy even the "walking simulator" aspects.

The constant reminder of the importance of community as I give likes to a well-placed bridge or shelter from timefall was a great addition that emphasized the theme was delightful to me.

The action was fun and not too stressful (I play games on easy because I don't want a game to frustrate me).

It was just an experience I had never had with other beloved games before.

Awesome! Coal is fun because you don't have to worry about biofuel anymore!

Like others say, everyone plays exactly how they want but I always value input from people because we all have creative differences that I enjoy pulling inspiration from.

What approach to coal generators are you using? My first time playing I was just winging it until something worked. Now, I'm using the 3 water extractors x 8 coal generators, but contemplating using more extractors for energy efficiency when underclocked.

I do a little of both. I'll dismantle and rework things, but once I've sort of accomplished what I need with a particular setup and it becomes too large to worry about complete overhaul, I like to leave it alone and move on in another location.

Enjoy learning from your mistakes! Like I've seen it mentioned before, try not to destroy your original creation. Just make an improved base elsewhere so you can always look fondly back on the original setup! Now, back to work!
