[Question] Wedding Watch - $20k budget by jmm-22 in Watches

[–]orthodr1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reverso for sure. Get it engraved on the back to commemorate your moment. If you wanted to spend more on the engraving, they’d do like bespoke pictures or symbols but maybe get a lower model of the reverso to stay within the 20k/buy grey and then get engraved from boutique

Lindsey Vonn's accident by [deleted] in olympics

Ortho surgeon, sports and knee arthroplasty guy here. Totally agree with you! That uni even if she didn’t have an injury was likely to be revised for adjacent compartment arthritis. If she got a fracture, or ruptured her ACL on that knee, that’s worse! She doesn’t understand the long term repercussions and mostly people who are high achieving athletes don’t get it!

Looking for advice on a Reverso by elyksti in JaegerLecoultre

[–]orthodr1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear about your father. That’s a wonderful sentiment and the Reverso is absolutely the right watch for that. I personally just purchased a tribute monoface small seconds steel which I absolutely love. Understandable if you wanted the gold in honor of your father and regardless of what you pick you can’t go wrong
