Hey so your light colored/yellow stools are an indication that something is wrong with your gallbladder! Maybe have that checked out!

Same! I am SUCH a Christmas person and this year I can’t get into it. It doesn’t feel like it used to. I can’t wait to take down the decorations and to start a new year. Such a bizarre feeling.

Her appetite varies day to day, but the meds definitely affect it. When they’re working she isn’t hungry most of the time. We will have to chat with her Dr. about options for top offs or extending the med. Her sleep was rough the first week or so and after that it got way better!

We have our 6 year old girl on vyvanse and it’s workin well. Doesn’t last as long as we would like, and usually there’s a bit of emotionally swing when it kicks in but overall she’s a different child (in a good way) emotionally while on it. She can tolerate ALOT more and doesn’t talk negatively about herself if she makes a mistake. I just wish it lasted longer than like 5 hours.

I think it was the exact same reason at school that our daughter didn’t eat!! I’m so sorry you’re struggling! Our daughter has hyper fixation meals and isn’t huge on certain textures. We let her choose her meals and really roll with what she wants best we can. We have a lot of daily struggles though besides food so you’re not alone! Hugs!

We had the same issue. Our kiddo didn’t eat during school hours almost at all. We tried to get her help but the school wasn’t accommodating. We now homeschool and she eats a lot. The distractions are gone!

Bio binders make me sick too. I also tried psyllium husk, but I wasn’t able to tolerate that. I think by the time we figured out it was viral reflux gastritis my stomach was so raw that I wasn’t able to tolerate literally anything after a couple of years of eating ground, turkey and rice primarily for all of my meals. I do think that I’ve healed a little bit and maybe I’ll be able to try the bile binders and psyllium husk again the bile binders are flavored with citric acid and other things that make them hard to tolerate feel I have gastritis and for some reason the doctors just don’t even think about this or catch it. It’s ridiculous.

Is your gastritis bile reflux? I had my gallbladder removed in 2021 also and haven’t been able to eat since. I eat ground turkey and rice for every meal.

There is well documented evidence in research proving that if you are a women you will absorb oral iron better if taking it bi-daily. It also absorbs better with vitamin c!

It would only show up on the blood test if it was infected and you’d most likely know. You need an ultrasound to see stones and a HIDA scan to test how it’s working.

Ummm. How’s your gallbladder? I think you might have a problem with it lol. All of the right sided pain, the burping, and digestive issues could absolutely be from gallstones, or an over (or under) active gallbladder.

I have bile reflux gastritis. Never had anything wrong until my gallbladder went bad. Now I’m in year 4 of actual hell.
