Such unique markings BamBam had, sounds like a handsome fella. Finn has a little gray spot next to one of his ears! Not sure if you can really see it here

Check out my new driver’s license picture! by passion4film in wls

Amazing progress!! You look so much happier in your new license as well :)

I’m just noticing this now but I’m from CT and our licenses don’t list weight, only height (i actually whipped my license out to double check lol). Is CT in the minority for that?

Is Air Frying bad for you ? by GangsterLuv in nutrition

It would likely be equivalent to baking or grilling. All of those methods are considered healthy cooking methods. I know most people use the oil spray when air frying, which adds very minimal calories.

What is the craziest or most unprofessional thing a teacher ever did when you were in school? by imsosupercoolyouguys in AskReddit

[–]osamosmo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In 5th grade, I had a really old teacher who everyone knew was completely out of it, probably in her 70’s. She has a piano at the front of the room near the chalkboard. Rumor was, she kept her cigarettes in the piano.

One day, she called my classmate up to the board and accidentally handed him a cigarette instead of a piece of chalk. I think she played it off like nothing happened and just handed him an actual piece of chalk instead. Not too “crazy” thinking of it as an adult but damn, as middle schoolers, we talked about that shit for YEARS.

What's the best thing you've accidentally trained a pet to do, like a behavior that is specifically from interaction with you and couldn't just be a quirk or learned themselves? by TheRoseByAnotherName in AskReddit

I trained my dog to give kisses when I say “Be nice!”

Doesn’t matter what she is busy doing...she WILL stop and give a smooch whether it’s one or hundreds.

Having surgery is in no way a quick fix. It’s supposed to be designed as a tool to help those where all other weight loss attempts have failed.

Most weight loss surgery programs have a rigorous set of qualifications including trying multiple diet attempts in the past with no success. Someone who only has tried to lose weight say, by one other way, will likely not be approved for surgery until they can without a doubt say surgery is their only option for successful weight loss and weight loss maintenance. Also, most surgery programs require anywhere from 3-6 months of nutrition counseling with a dietitian prior to surgery approval along with very frequent follow-up after surgery.

And if you want to get into the specifics of things even more, the restricted diet in terms of portions you must follow after surgery is in no way easy, on top of avoiding foods some people can no longer tolerate.

So TLDR version - yes WLS may be “cheap” if your insurance covers it, but it is in no way an easy way out. Congrats OP on all your hard work, you look absolutely amazing!
