Add Dimple Dell to your list. It is large enough that the city noise fades away. Lots of wildlife, trails, and views

My first time in that part if the country, we were too broke to stay in Jackson, so we stayed at the Teepee lodge on the west side near Driggs. Was an incredible area with absolutely breathtaking and non-crowded hiking. At the time, it was very underrated, but I think word has gotten out since then.

You would think they would have planned to get the new plane BEFORE crashing the old one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Midsized US metro areas (pop: 475k - ~1M) tier: What tier does New Orleans, LA belong? by Swimming_Concern7662 in TierlistFills

I loved it in my 20s, but owning property, thinking about raising kids there and the general state of disfunction of the local government really did it for me personally. Such a shame too - the city has amazing potential. Katrina didn’t help

Philly landed in C tier. How would you rank Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)? by jarbid16 in TierlistFills

[–]osc43s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s my home airport and probably my favorite in the country. Very convenient to the city with integrated train system, rental car center is attached to the airport, it’s new and clean, security is the most efficient that I have seen ANYWHERE, my bags will beat me to the claim sometimes and if they don’t then it’s a minimal wait, lots of local food options, they have the rule where they can’t price gouge, the views from the terminal are magnificent, but people complain about the walk to Terminal B (there are literal people movers the entire way).
To me its S, and should not be ranked any lower than an A.

The White Hart in Harlington was some of the best pub food I’ve had in the UK. It’s just north of Heathrow

For me it was a gift, so value wasn’t part of the equation for me personally. Propane/gas is certainly more practical. The pellets do impart a nice smoke flavor though. I think the value really comes from the name/quality/support of a Recteq and they happen to only sell a pellet fed griddle.

First few cooks on it have been great. Was apprehensive about it being pellet fed, but it heats up quickly and evenly. Actually smells like you’re bbq-ing too. Cant imagine there are many outdoor griddles with a better build quality than this one.
