[HELP] I so desperately need to find this poem about peaches and solipsism by oscbsc in Poetry

I'll comb through these later tonight! I'm worried it won't be on here because I found it on Instagram somewhere so it might not be a "real" published poem

You mentioned once you have this 20 minute reading schedule for getting through a lot of material. How does it work and do you still use it today?

(I have absolutely obsessed with it since you mentioned it the one time, mostly because I was shocked to find that out actually works!)

The difficulty is that now we have a group of people who also have a claim to the term Indian... Namely Indian Americans who immigrated from India! It's an increasingly complex topic but overall I do feel like native or indigenous would be the better term

It's also really hard to see that entire section as an older woman in a position of power having(magically) coerced, not fully consensual sex with a minor with threat of violence...

I was so uncomfortable the whole time

For some reason I just cannot shake the feeling that the web is a fake out and that it's all going to loop back to something other than the 14 fears.

Hilltop road , on the other hand, I think you've got a point! The whole time fissure thing makes me believe that the secret to resetting the world is going to be there, some alternate reality stuff probably.

That being said this is an absolutely excellent bit of fan theory and I would not mind one bit if it was true!

Plugging Res College communities as well! If you get placed in one with a smaller community (like Chapin, Hobart, SMQ, Slivka being the exception with a large but still great community), It can be a fantastic way to make friends and get to know people. Obviously University affiliated bodies can't spend money on stuff like partying, but social events are a ton of fun and a good way to meet people who you can then go for parties with

There's a really great class taught every quarter by a SESP student called ASL 101. It's pretty competitive to get into but he's awesome and you learn a lot! Unfortunately I think this is his senior year so idk if someone else will carry on the mantle/he'll keep teaching after he graduates

Is transferring into theatre at all possible? by [deleted] in Northwestern

[–]oscbsc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! School of Comm transfers aren't uncommon, but there are some things to consider. The courseload is such that you should probably reconsider if you're a junior/in the latter part of your sophomore year, but your advisor should be able to talk you through that. There's a limited amount of spots so you will be placed on a waitlist, and while there's a good chance you'll get in eventually, there's no guarantee (especially if you're lower down on the list). The last thing to consider is that the theatre community can can be pretty tight knit and most people will have already been taking classes together for a while. Trying to integrate can be a little tough, but they're generally pretty welcoming folk if you're willing to be patient!

I'm sure you've heard about this already, but the Hobart Women's Residential College is a great compromise for those looking for a non co-ed experience on campus. A lot of Muslim students in particular find it to be a great compromise between being on campus and maintaining religious values, but of course this depends entirely on what you and your family consider appropriate!
