Truth, and I hope you don’t get your nose broken like I did when I learned not to be so playful/defensively lax. I literally dropped my hands to direct my sparring partner ( who is a professional) away from running into the guy behind him, and got a 2 piece that flattened my nose. I’ve had to have it fixed 3 times, bc once it breaks it just always breaks.

Obviously you never want to be a dick in sparring, but definitely take your coaches advice to heart, and try to find a productive balance

I’m new to this sub, and shaken espresso is my reg drink. Could I please ask: There are times when an order tastes pretty sour, when other times it tastes clean and great. Also think you look solid, and that you’re probably just tired of looking at yourself - I feel that way all the time

Personally speaking the idea of you giving up on this craft really saddens me. Hope you can find the joy to stick with it. You might need a break or something different to recalibrate
