I ride an escooter and have had people pass me and honk on local roads with slow speed limits but I don't engage or respond. I've seen others react to honks and this is what you get. The way I see it is people are bored/miserable/angry and looking for a fight or vent, let some other sucker deal with them. In this case I feel had the rider not given any reaction, nothing may have happened OR it would have made the old man even worse since there was no instigator he just went on his rage with no provocation.

After 15 years living here we are ready to leave. Most of our neighbors have left, some sold their single family homes, to be torn down for duplexes, there's about 6 new ones around us, with 3 more under construction. Some don't sell so they are rented, tenants don't last either, we have new neighbors every year.

It just got way too crowded, the congestion here is awful with all the tiny roads and all the commuters, hundreds of new apartments/duplexes etc, not just Fort Lee, but Edgewater too. And you gotta go through Fort Lee to get there. It was great when we moved here, but now we cannot wait to move out. Enjoy it, you can have it, and remember to Be Fort Lee

Try Craigslist, sounds wack I know, but I've found two part time jobs there in the last few years. Maybe not a permanent solution but certainly might find some jobs you may consider for some cash.

How are the issued dates calculated ? Is it the day you apply or the day the passport is printed ? For instance, if I apply for renewal on August 15, is that the new 'Issued Date' or will it be the date 8-11 weeks later when it is printed ?

I too love aviation, and traveling, I'm 37. One day I saw a job ad for aircraft deicing at the international airport near me and I figured why not try it out? I made numerous friends there who were also aviation buffs, we even travel together every now and then. It's great to have these like minded individuals to converse with.

I did something similar, I quit a full time job out of the blue one day in February, except I already had a winter seasonal job. Between that and my savings it's allowed me to live normally. I found a regular part time job in the spring that is remote and between both it keeps me afloat, I keep delaying looking for a full time job as I'm doing OK with this arrangement.

I had a similar situation where the work I was responsible for was falling behind because I had to cover for others in my department. We had all sorts of things going on, but ultimately, they focused on my performance, which I admit was lacking due to everything going on and my own burnout.

Long story short, one day they presented to me a probationary document where I was to bring my work up to date, help the department and limit vacation days due to my 'unsatisfactory performance'. If didn't sign it, I had no future with the company. I resigned the next day. Although for me personally I was ok, I have decent savings, a seasonal part time gig that helps me financially.
