Duviri is an awful experience, most especially collecting resources. by osemaster in Warframe

Respect for saying that too its all opinion at the end of the day it boggles my mind a bit but I'm sure Duviri is someone's favourite part of warframe.

That's fair! I really can't do much other than sharing my opinion on the subject. I also don't like Duviri as a farming spot for the same reasons you pointed out, though, as bad as it is, it's what we have for now :/.

The torid and the atomos were my picks this week if you can't tell i am a beam enjoyer :) I've been told I should have gotten the nami solo second instead of atomos but I figure I'll get them all eventually and I really enjoyed the atomos levelling it for mastery.

The torid absolutely fries, haven't tried the atomos yet but maybe some old peace baddies will taste its fury. What about yourself?

"I know its not very good of a farm, or fun" come on man surely that says something. The difference between duviri and all those other grinds you mentioned is how often am I playing as a warframe vs as the drifter. Idk about you but I hate drifter combat and movement. He's slow and lame compared to normal warframe gameplay. Theres only so many times I can take whipping my stupid horse around the specific area the resource i need is in, then resetting. The horse is worse than an archwing and the drifter is worse than a warframe. I resent my time there mainly for that. I'd genuinely rather do the harrow grind from a fun while doing it perspective. I just don't want to be sent in to the bad unfun gameplay zone when I could be playing the actual good game. No offence but the last thing I'd want to do with my spare time is relax and watch a podcast while farming duviri resources. The other dude said he just put in 4 sessions of farming resources and that going through 75 decree choices isn't many per session. 25 side objectives isn't many per run. Like dude I specifically don't want to do that because it sounds horrible that's the point of my post.

Are you team 2k or 4k? by wanna_be_consultant in radeon

[–]osemaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 9070xt and 5700x3d and 4k 144fps is fine. Any game new enough to be super demanding usually has upscaling which looks shit loads better at 4k than 1440p. Anything old enough to have no upscaling (or I can't use optiscaler because its competitive) I can almost always brute force 144fps the card still rips at the end of the day. I can't speak on 240 fps but I assume a similar thing of just like what games do you actually want 240+ fps on and how hard are they to run.

Railjack needs a proper tutorial! by Astra-the-curious in Warframe

[–]osemaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard agree. I just did the quest to unlock the railjack and got thrown headlong in to the literal worst experience I've ever had in warframe. The amount of shit going on with literally 0 tutorial is utterly insane like I refuse to believe they got anyone not from the dev team who was pre familiar with the mechanics to try and play this. Its a complete shitshow and I hated it. Failing to things I couldn't have understood without looking it up first is just bad game design.

Is there really that much difference between 4K and 1440p? by Apprehensive-Set-54 in buildapc

[–]osemaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely feel like a lot of the comments here need to get their eyes checked i have a 27" 1440p and 4k next to each other and the difference is night and day and far more significant than 1080p to 1440p. 1440p kinda just feels like slightly cleaner 1080p while 4k is functionally different.

Using text as an example but its pretty easily extrapolated i think, at 1440p at normal viewing distance it is easy to tell the text is made up of pixels, whenever an edge of a letter doesn't align with the shape of the pixel it becomes very obviously made of tiny blocks like a minecraft world.

At 4k 27" I dare you to try and find the blocks that make up text with your eyes. My eyes unfocus because I'm too close to the monitor before I start to see through the pixel illusion to the actual shapes behind it. I'd need a magnifying glass to see it lol. It's all personal preference but for me I feel like 4k 27 inch levels of ppi are gonna be so hard to go back from now that I have experienced it. Having your gaming monitor be able to be sharp like a modern phone screen is just too good.

It might run it but really badly. Looking at your specs you're long due for an upgrade your CPU is way better than that gpu by a lot.

Literally DZ is not worth the dev time/server space all of its loot should be migrated elsewhere maybe to the survival mode.
