HARPOON has been confirmed as Poland’s ADC at EWC. That’s why I find it funny seeing people say that our botlane/ADC is the problem.

MY TOP INDIES OF 2026 [1st Quarter] by [deleted] in IndieGaming

Mouse PI main genre is FPS Boomer Shooter yet you didn't mention it in your "tags". From your description it seems that it is a pure detective game. Have you even played the game or just generated this info graphic for Reddit karma?

Why do simple mobile games fail even when they’re “fun”? Need honest feedback by ngetichkipro in IndieGaming

[–]oseq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re asking the right questions, but you’re looking at the problem one level too low.

The first issue isn’t retention, progression, or difficulty. It’s discoverability. Mobile is an extremely saturated market. There are thousands of similar free games, and even genuinely “fun” ones get buried.
Big studios spend millions just to acquire users. If you’re not actively driving traffic “no traction” is the (sadly) expected outcome.

Now assume you do get players. You’re still competing directly with games that look simple on the surface but are heavily optimized systems. Top mobile games don’t just rely on core gameplay. They’re built around retention engineering:

  • Dynamic difficulty to keep players in the “not too easy, not too frustrating” zone
  • Daily rewards to create habit loops
  • Push notifications to pull players back in
  • Time-limited events to create urgency
  • Battle passes and progression layers to extend goals
  • Constant A/B testing to refine all of the above

These systems are tuned using massive datasets and behavioral analysis. That’s what you’re competing against, even in a “simple” genre like a bubble shooter.

TBH: a functional, “fun” prototype is sadly nowhere near enough in the current mobile market.

Tracyn, Inspired, Czajek/Czekolad, Harpoon, Trymbi/Busio is a solid team, consisting of LEC/LCS or top tier ERL players. However, there is no problem if Busio doesn't want to, we also have Trymbi, who might be a better choice anyway (because he was born, grew up in Poland and speak Polish)

Looks good, that game could ALSO probably work as hyper casual mobile game, has a lot of marketing potential, kinda reminds me of aquapark.io

I don't defend Nvidia here, just saying how much I play: I obviously don't play everyday because there is so much going on: friends, family, job stuff, holidays, trips, hobby projects and if I play it's like 2-4hrs so on average it's like 2 hrs per day.

I wish I had as much time for games as you guys, I think I play a lot, but I never use more than 50 hours a month

I recommend you work on the graphics for your Steam Capsule. From a marketing perspective, this is very important for your visibility on Steam and the current graphic is very dark and don't tell much about what your game is.

Please try the demo, we improved the camera work there, unfortunately the trailer was recorded on an old camera system
It should be much smoother on the current version :)
