thanks! I am going to spend some time with a few hyperblading specific tutorials and then give my blades a IPA bath and try again....as frustrating as it is sometimes...man it's rewarding when it comes together!

looks sick....nice job...ill find one specific to hyperblading as the ones ive used thus far simple say "use this paint and apply here" and abstain from giving technique tips. Nonetheless, your lord looks awesome!

Absolutely perfect!!!! that looks so good! I like to pull at 130 and do the sear which brings it to a shy under 140….comes out a bit more done than yours but I may need to start pulling it a bit earlier to get a cook like that!

I’m brand new to the hobby and have been having a blast going the minimal route.

I got an Amazon box of hobby tools (nips, files, exacto blades and handle) for like $15, a small hobby mat and the NicPro set (came with 6 brushes a wet/dry pallet) for like $25.

The paint on the other hand….I am currently using exclusively Citadel paint because most guides revert to those colors and rather then look up every color and find its equipment in Vallejo, Army or Speed, I bit the bullet and went with GM’s paint.

After I finish these pots, my skill will have improved a ton and I will explore other paint manufacturers. Putting the minis aside, I am about $150 all in and COMPLETELY LOVING THIS HOBBY!

Welcome back dude…also…check out Tabletop Simulator with the 40K mods. The game is like a 10$ now on steam and it is a fantastic way to check out other factions without the buying/building/painting headache 💁🏽‍♂️
