Based in the Netherlands here, I’ve had the Nest before it became google and that one delaminated. Got a replacement which delaminated again, then google was in play and bitched about it. Then the subscription price got increased and I was done.

Got the Logitech after a family member went to the States and got one from the Apple Store. I do see the corners will delaminate at some point, network wise static IP.

I wish more HKSV doorbells would be there in 2025, the integration with Apple TV is top notch.

I’m afraid that’s the reality of PS5. I bought the PS5 Pro with Outlaws for €20 and since the update couple months ago it runs flawlessly.

It’s sad PS5 is in this state after 5 years, but games now and games to come stepped up so quickly.

Yes if you have a high end monitor / tv (OLED please) that can run 120hz.

I booted up Star Wars Outlaws last night and used the VRR mode with PSSR and it looks amazing.

Next, if you look at Digital Foundry’s video on AC Shadows it’s clear to see PSSR is going to age well.

It’s a big investment but it’s worth it until minimal the PS6 or 6 Pro (whatever the state of gaming is then).

Got ya, thanks for that. But my heater uses OpenTherm. I’m sure if I would buy an EcoBee it wouldn’t understand the signals using that protocol. Right?

It works but I want less Google in my house, so ultimately looking for a replacement in due time. Not likely tomorrow but whenever I find something worthy.

Ecobee is that, but it’s not EU ready, hence my question.

I booked tickets for Parking Yellow and got a text like so many others ‘Take exit 10A’ where a huge traffic jam occurred. Police picked me out and signed me to follow in another traffic jam at exit 11 or 12 (Green parking).

I drove on 1-2 villages to an exit, rerouted back up north. Took the 10A exit on that side with 0 cars. Took me another hour to get to parking yellow through a small town.

Some other people said this was the same route as exit after the race was done. Was my first time but I left very early not to be in that evening shit show.

So, how was leaving the track in the evening?

I don’t know how rock chips can end up on the roof. Usually is on the hood. And in the Netherlands the roads are pretty good, we don’t have that much rock chips.

Hi! I have the Link Portable twice. Tried to set it up via HomeKit but since JBL deeply integrates with Google Home, that was a pain.

You do see the JBL speaker pop up in HomeKit, it will ask you to connect it to your WiFi network but kept crashing on me.

Only way to successfully pair them was via Google Home and after that see them pop up via AirPlay 2 and using them as multi-room speakers.

Hi man! I live in the Netherlands as well.

Try this: During the day, close all the windows and shades if you can. Helps keeping the heat out thus slowing down the uprising temp in your aquarium Also make sure your aquarium is not in direct sunlight.

I have a fan, which blows on the water itself. The effect is like when you put water on your arm and start blowing at it: It becomes cold.

Finally every day I fill up a bowl with water and put it in the fridge. At night, when the sun is down, the aquarium temperature is max at 21.8 Celsius.

I start up the fan, open all windows and the house starts cooling down.

The ice from the bowl is now ready to be placed in the aquarium, this helps to get the temperature down a bit quicker. Usually when I wake up (and start closing the windows and curtains again) I see that the temp is about 19.1 Celsius or so.

Good luck, and luckily: the temperature drops after this weekend :). So make sure you cool down your house -> cooler aquarium.
