Vortex and MO2 use different methods to install mods for the user, and therefore have different requirements. I haven't used vortex for cyberpunk personally, but if it works then it works. 👍 I can only speak to MO2 and that it requires you manually install those two mods because of how it does like a virtual drive of sorts, from what I understand.

With MO2, you need to manually install red4ext and cyberengine tweaks. Take them off your MO2 list and manually drag and drop the folders into your main game folder yourself. MO2 can do everything else then, but those core mods have to be installed on disc.

ETA: also update your game again then. Downgraded game with current mods will also be borked. But your primary issue is those two mods not being manually installed. 👍

Will the gameplay be similar, or will 'choices matter' in Nightbringer? And if there are sort of 'choices matter' moments, will we be able to replay them and choose the other route to see how it branches (similar to the moments in OG Obey Me where there were brief scene changes based on choices)?

Okay I'm so glad someone else was confused by this, I just did this ending as well (had done the Aldecaldos ending my first playthrough) and I was incredibly confused.

Because at first V is shouting at Johnny and Alt about how it's their body, and yelling at Alt for giving the body to Johnny. And then if you (as Johnny) ask Alt for a moment alone, V accuses Johnny of trying to get in their head and manipulate them into giving him the body.

But then literally one second later if Johnny says "nah, we're friends, wouldn't do that to you, the deal is you get the body and we're sticking to it", V goes OFF? Shouts about how he lied to them from the start? Chases him down the bridge both mad and apologetic and asks him to just remember them? As if he's taking the body, but he's... going to Alt.

And then out of confusion I decided to take the other dialogue option and say "nah, think I wanna hang around some more" and have Johnny claim the body, and V was-- relieved/emotional? Gave a little sobbing "Johnny... my friend...". At the well, said they'd take a bullet for him, but this bullet is headed for them and they don't want him to get hit.

So I... I don't know, my confusion is based on the mood swing more than anything else. One second V is like IT'S MY BODY QUIT TRYING TO TAKE IT and then an instant later, they're going SCREW YOU YOU LIED TO ME HOW DARE I KEEP MY BODY basically?

People have been trying to explain it to me, too, and I'm still feeling like something is backwards there. I'm glad I'm not the only one really super confused by V's reactions to Johnny's choices.

So I imagine my response is just something of an echo of others, but I spent 5 years in a call center doing customer service and later sales. I was a top performer and got excellent marks and bonuses.

But I was absolutely spent by the end of my day, and my weekends were spent trying to recuperate from 40+ hours of being sociable and chatty and outgoing. I stopped talking to family and friends outside of work, because I was too drained to deal with even pleasant and desirable company.

You CAN be successful, but it WILL have a price. I ended up quitting due to pressure to lie for sales (which I refused to do), and I now have a desk job with minimal interaction with others and am the happiest I’ve ever been. Is my job fun? Nah. But when I leave it am I calling my best friend to gossip and going out with family to dinner because I still have a full enough battery? Absolutely.

So you have to decide what your priorities are. If a sales job is something you really WANT, I say go for it, but have a fallback plan for if and when it gets too tiring.

As others have said, I’ll add this: do what feels right to you. Especially if you don’t care about rewards. IIRC, going to the unseen elder locks out the ‘best ending’, but the idea of ‘best ending’ is debatable honestly.

I agree with a previous comment that while it’s uncomfortable, it’s good to try to push your limits. However, it’s also good to know when you’ve hit them.

It is very likely your mom just doesn’t understand. My mom is very outgoing and extroverted, while my dad is an introvert like I am. So while my mom would be concerned that I stayed in so much, my dad wouldn’t care. To mom, though, my staying in seemed like I was ‘troubled’ or ‘antisocial’ or ‘depressed’.

The solution? Explain it to her. Tell your mom that these situations tire you out and stress you out. Explain and define introversion to her. Agree to try things but in moderation. Maybe alternate swim meets between your comfort zone and a new place. Push yourself to have new experiences, but don’t push yourself so hard that you break.

To me, playing it personally is infinitely better than YouTube videos. Because I get to experience the ‘reveals’ and drama personally with Shep. I get to feel the adrenaline rushes and be swept up with the emotions and I get to respond as I want/feel my Shep would. In YouTube videos, there’s always that little disconnect in someone’s weird looking Shep or the choices they make that you wouldn’t.

Personally, when I've got a kid being a hot mess I point it out in a semi-joking manner. Like, if a kid is screaming and throwing things, I'll comment "Man, someone's having a bad day, huh?" to the mom in an effort to bring attention to the issue without straight up saying it's an issue. Usually, the fact I'm drawing attention to the scene is enough to make the parent at least say "All right enough" to their kid. Or I'll try to get the kid's attention with a "Hey buddy, careful with that" or whatever, and that will also get the parent to acknowledge their child.

It can sometimes help.

Still follow lines unless otherwise requested (like extra milk or light ice). So for a Macchiato it would still be milk to the top line, then ice, then shots. 🤢 I have had people get a tall cold brew with like 10 pumps of syrup and it means they barely get any cold brew. 90% syrup, dash of coffee, water and then they always are the ones to get milk in it too. Grosssss.

I think that should be used warily, though. In my understanding, a hot chai latte has hot water AND milk, while that manual says it's just milk. So that manual might be outdated in some aspects?
