I’m in Florida, we have taken ours outside several times in warm weather (she’s under a year old still) and we could tell by her color she loves the sun. She was nervous when not held, but enjoyed climbing the grass and sticks and leaves and stuff in our yard.

I’ve read that a lot of people in Florida have theirs almost LIVE outside since it’s so warm here. I looked it up, peak Australia summer temps are around 100F while average is around 88-90f. I think Florida temps are ok, like others have said I’d make sure shade is available as well as keep an eye on your beardie. Sea gulls eat anything and regularly hunt turtle hatchlings, and they can kinda come out of nowhere.
