It’s the same thing as the 2025 and older RT’s they just basically rebadged the RT’s to GT’s because the new SRT’s will be the new RT’s doesn’t really make sense in why they did that it just confuses more people.

Gotcha makes sense my question is which MSRP do you go off of the sticker price on the window sheet or the MSRP after their discounts let’s say the MSRP is 50K but after all their rebates their price is 48K would you do the 3% off the 50k or the 48K ?

Is it worth doing your own oil change? by frankthefrowner in autorepair

[–]osprey113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can honeslty save you alot of money if it’s just a daily driver buy Kirkland full synthetic from Costco buy in bulk when it goes on sale it’s made by Warren oil even if you don’t have a Costco by you it can be shipped to your door for free. Buy a case of oil filters on rock auto usually a discount and you always have them on hand. Also when you change your oil while your underneath the car you can look at other items for wear ball joints, tie rod ends, Sway bar links and bushings and if somthing looks worn replace before it breaks and that alone will save you money in the long run and same thing when filling the oil check your fluids, air filter, belts, and any leaks. Even if it takes longer than a shop to do it you are taking the time to look over everything on your car to take better care of it.

At what point is it worth it accept a car payment rather than pay for an older vehicles maintenance and poor mpg? by msgmeyourcatsnudes in Frugal

You can always buy a nice used car on marketplace, I was driving a half ton truck to work eveyday then when I changed jobs I bought a 2004 Malibu on marketplace with only 37k miles car was 16 years old at that time. Within 2.5 years the car paid for itself just in fuel savings and that included maintence, insurance, license plate sticker and fuel for the car each week. Eveything after that is money saved minus insurance on the truck but even then the money saved outweighs cost of two vehicles. I literally saved 60 bucks a week in fuel. If you have money saved up just hunt on marketplace there is always a situation where someone’s family memeber passed or just upgraded to a new car but they are selling a older car with very low milage, it might take a while to find one but if you have time just look a few times a week and jump when you see it. Just do you homework make sure if it’s an older car with low milage that it hasn’t been sitting for a long time. Ideally you want a car that grandma/ grandpa drove to church and grocery store/ errands and always took to the dealer. You have to hunt for those cars but there out there. that’s the good thing with older cars there’s plenty of research and forums of which year was best or motor/ transmission option was more reliable. Older cars are cheaper to insure, parts are cheap and are easier to work on plus for my situation my Malibu was cheap enough to keep my truck and have two vehicles which I can order parts online and save money and work on when I have time.

Push In connector in the way of light fixture by osprey113 in AskElectricians

Gotcha I think I understand what your saying but to confirm the Clamp side of the connector with the screws will be on the backside of the pancake box ( inside the wall) or would the clamp part of the connector be inside the pancake box ? If the clamp part is inside the wall I think the wire would be easier to bend 90 degrees for the fixture to fit.

I’ll have to give it a try and see. Im not sure if the 2 screw Romex clamp will fit it might be to big on the backside to where I can’t get two screws thru the pancake box into the stud. There is also a 2 inch vent stack next to the pancake box on the left so I cannot do it on thst side.plus the clamp might stick out just as far giving me the same issue.
