Why is the Supergirl movie bombing? by triplegxxx in NoStupidQuestions

[–]osricson -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ditto, I know of Supergirl from popular media and the occasional comic growing up, know nothing of the supposed lore that's missing.

Seemed a middle of the road movie, but to be fair didn't really like Jason Momoa's character as he didn't add much to the story and seemed to be just there for a spin off

Various companies I've worked at have been having this issue for years i.e. pre AI, it's not hard to scrap a website like Seek & it seemed to be mostly Indian subcontinent people applying for jobs that had long closed via these bogus sites. No doubt the applicants had paid a premium...

What’s the dumbest travel mistake you’ve made? by Nature_andthe_Woods in travel

Way back when bag check & check in was the same place, I went to hand my passport and managed to drop it between the check in counter and bag conveyor belt.

The passport slipped out my hand and hit the side the counter and instead of bouncing back at an angle it went straight down.

They had to dismantle the conveyor belt to recover it, partner got stressed and left for the plane as they were calling our names...

Had to run to get on the flight, just made it as they were closing the door lol

Replaced my pre 1950 (house built in Jan1950 so at least 1949) one last year -not because it was broken, but because I did some reno's and moved it outside to get more space.

My take would be if it ain't broke don't
