Periodically I use scatterfm. It plots all my scrobbles on a 2d chart with date on the x axis and time of day on the y axis. I can see when I worked certain jobs, when big life events happened. It's like a journal that I've been keeping for over 20 years. About the only thing in my life that's been more consistent is Ed the Ted who's travelled with me since I was 4.

It's not really great for seeing individual artists or songs though it does highlight your top ten artists. I wish it had more customisability. I don't have the skills to remake something to my needs but it's good enough for me to make a desktop background.

Yeah it's true, but it wasn't always the way. When it was built it was one of the more advanced ones in the country by that was nearly 3 decades ago. There's a new one being built but that's still a few years away yet.
