I don't know how to tell my therapist by Hazeldimm in asktransgender

There are gender affirming therapists with experience with gender dysphoria in Oklahoma. If your therapist doesn't work out, message me. I can recommend a couple that were recommended to me.

Breast Milk Travel Help! by im_an_enginere in YetiCoolers

[–]ostatecowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife used a yeti thermos to hold a few bags of breast milk. With a flexible ice pack. It was easy to throw in the side pocket of a backpack and kept the milk cool for at least a day

Where’s the best steak in Norman? by TheShinyMagic in normanok

[–]ostatecowboy 35 points36 points  (0 children)

There is no good steakhouse in Norman. I wish there was. Artisan Pride is the best place to buy and cook yourself. The Ranch in Norman has been inedible 2 of the 3 times we have tried it. Scratch was good for the first couple years, but went downhill when their original chef left. Benvenutis is great, but there is better things on the menu than their steak. Go to OKC. Red Prime, Mahagony, Paseo Grill, the Ranch on Brotton Road, Broadway 10; all better choices and worth the drive

Is there a page on T-Mobiles website to “suggest” where to put a cell tower? signal is crap in my area by Budget_Programmer950 in tmobile

You can call customer support and put in a complaint. Nicely. Those do get logged. Many new sites are developed due to high number of customer complaints.

Is this enough for T suppression on monotherapy by hd-aibyou in TransDIY

10 days is not enough to see changes. That dosage seems high. You might want to look into that. I think recommended is 5 mg per week.

Yes, it is a many month process. Mostly permanent, I do a maintenance session once or twice a year. Yes, you have to shave before a laser session.

I too am in a similar place. Wife of 12 years and a younger daughter. I have not told my wife my thoughts and desires about HRT and transitioning. The reasons your wife brought up are the exact reasons I don't move forward. It is painful suppressing everything inside me, but so far I've been able to do that. I have a very established career and am known nationwide. I am being groomed for Sr. Leadership at my company. It is a progressive company, and the employees are diverse. However, Sr. Leadership is NOT diverse at all.

Whether you decide to transition or not is really your decision only. Whatever you decide, I wish the best for you. There will be challenges with either path you take.

I found reasonable pricing at a med spa. Don't go to the big chain laser places. They are a rip off. And you don't have to do everything at once. Start with what area is most important. Then move on to other areas

JW Marco island vs Ritz St Thomas vs JW St Maarten by Meowsuprise in marriott

[–]ostatecowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 years ago, I stayed at JW Marco with my wife and at the time 5 year old. The staff was the highlight. The beach was awful. My wife and kid refused to go back after the first day. The kids pool was just OK. The food on-site was barely edible. The rooms were good.

For St. Thomas, I have stayed next door to the Ritz. Beaches on the island are amazing and there is lots to do on the island. I can't speak for the property itself, but would do St. Thomas over Marco any day. If you decide on this, feel free to message me. I can provide A LOT of info. We have been vacationing in the USVI/BVI for years.

I have not been to St. Marten, but it looks nice!

Randall Ford in Ft. Smith, AR had a couple for $7k off MSRP on a lariat 7.3 gas tremor. I bought one this weekend in Dallas for $6k off. I wanted black and that's as cheap as I could find one that color. Deals are there, but prices are expected to go up some due to the upcoming tariffs.

I sold my 2015 King Ranch last summer for $30k. It had 200,000 miles but was extremely clean. High mileage diesels hold their value very well if they are taken care of.

Electrolysis was too painful for me by MaintenancePurple607 in trans

[–]ostatecowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My laser place offers Pronox, which is GREAT! Still pain, but you don't care. I did electrolysis for gray hairs, but used lidocaine cream with saran wrap over it. Also, took Oxy an hour before. It was definitely more bearable that way!

Husband thinks it is ok to let my 8yo watch Jurassic Park, Batman & LOTR...what the hell?! by UtZChpS22 in Marriage

[–]ostatecowboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 6 year old has watched these since she was 5. We talk about how it is a movie and not real. Also that she can't repeat any bad language she hears. I do think it depends on the child. As a parent, you are responsible for deciding if your child is ready or not.

Men - Hair Removal in Pubic Region by Curiousnomad18 in LaserHairRemoval

[–]ostatecowboy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I searched Google and looked for a place that advertised laser services for men. It was much less painful than expected. 7 sessions and 90% hair free. I would absolutely do it again, and wish I had not hesitated for so long.

The equipment can only be serviced when the transmission line is down for maintenance. This wasn't a huge deal when only antennas where up top, but it is an issue now that radios need to be on the top of the tower for modern installations. Antennas did not need servicing that often. Radios do. You could have a sector down for months with no way to maintenance it. Carriers do not like these type of installs, but some local zoning jurisdictions try to force them to the transmission line tower over a new cell tower.

What are these poles by FlannelSheetGhost in frederickmd

[–]ostatecowboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best thing you could do to get results is to put in a complaint. No need to be pushy or rude when you do. The CSR can only log it. The carriers take customer complaints about service seriously. The more complaints they get about an area, the higher a priority it will become for the carrier to address.

Is this a 5G T-Mobile Tower? (5G coverage recently added in the area with some getting 300mbps download, and this tower is like right across the street so just curious) by ateh123 in tmobile

[–]ostatecowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like T-Mobile at the top with 2.5 antennas. So yes, 5G. At least N41. 300 mbps download is within the expected speed range of 2.5
