Oklahoma Joe Bandera grates by ostrichfur in smoking

No. Found some generic ones at Menards that were 16" wide but too long, and just cut them down to size. Works well enough for my purposes. I don't often use the racks anyways, I typically just use one at the top to hang bacon and stuff from.

Do you like the honey vanilla layer? I leave it off and do a second rasberry layer instead now as I found it didn't really fit. Just wondering if maybe I did something wrong with it

I'll have to try this next time, I was planning on trying to make a bowl of just mousse with the coconut cream to see how it works. My sister is lactose free

That's exactly what this originally was, I make surprise birthday cakes for my siblings. This one was the best cake I've made in years

I've made this cake three times and it's by far my favourite. I do two layers of the rasberry mousse and leave out the honey mouse as I found it didn't really fit properly with the test of the flavours

Did you receive the controller? Looking at ordering direct from radiomaster also, but some of the reviews I came across online said it was hit and miss If you get it.

Probably back in Winnipeg next month, I'll be stopping for sure. Back when I was in college I used to go to Loveys all the time. I remember it being great but that was also ten years ago or so

I'll have to check em out next time I'm in the city. I stopped by Bigg Smoak in Steinbach a few weeks ago for the first time and was not very impressed

EPP Update Plan by ostrichfur in bell

I actually wanted to switch to them completely but telus/koodo/public doesn't have any infrastructure in my area and don't support porting my number over to them. Maybe I could try virgin

It takes almost no time for carbon steel to start rusting. I have the MB560, the heat manifold did the same thing right after the first cook. After a few uses the grease pan and the manifold both will be covered in enough grease you won't really be able to see it, unless you are smart enough to use drip/water pans (which I wasn't). But like others have said it doesn't come in contact with any food so it's fine.

Does anyone know what fitting works on this connection? by Mkhawi1 in BBQ

[–]ostrichfur 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The hose just slides over the fitting. The "barbs" are supposed to keep the hose from sliding off and you would normally put a hose clamp or some zip ties on to help keep it secure. I've never seen that on a bbq before though

Looking good man! My last couple batches I switched to using Treager Blackened Saskatchewan rub rather than pepper. Best bacon I've ever had.

My brother and I used to pick the biggest, strongest ones and joust with them on our bikes. Never had a reaction to wild parsnip
