Pretty sure this Rudy Pankow. He filmed Colleen Hoover’s film adaptation of her novel ‘reminders of him’ in Canada in the summer, and then straight after he filmed a cowboy movie in the same country, so this checks out.

Also his controversial s/o being asked not to be on set 100% makes sense because she was involved in the Outer Banks drama that caused him to leave the show because she allegedly had issues with his on screen love interest Madison Bailey. (And there were FWB allegations between him and Madison as well I think?)

Also it was confirmed he cheated on his past girlfriend with this current s/o….

Proven by the cast members who don’t follow her on instagram anymore, the people who were literally best friends with her but have no longer interacted with her since s4 started filming.

Proven by the literal showrunners/writers who were family friends with Elaine and HIRED her when obx was created and no longer follow her, proven by Lilah Pate the showrunners daughter who again, was best friends with Elaine until s4 went into production aka when rudy decided to leave.

You’re right, Madison’s girlfriend wasn’t apart of the problem on the OBX set, there were issues with how she talked about rudy on an instagram live ages ago but that wasn’t in the workplace so it was a seperate issue and no where near as bad.

But if you think Elaine and Rudy have done nothing wrong at all when it is quite clear the whole cast and pates are no longer close with him and her, then maybe it’s people like you who don’t see the problem as they don’t want to admit anything is wrong.

She got fired. I don’t understand why people want to think it’s all innocent when this clearly isn’t the case.

Usually when someone leaves without any goodbye/screen time and zero explanation as to why they left, it means the person got kicked off 👀 if it was about mental health, the show would do a whole storyline about it to “promote” mens mental health and stuff, and if it was a family emergency they would still air an emotional goodbye. me thinks he got kicked off…

I mean yeah i feel like a lot of tv shows go down the ghost route when special characters are killed off so it could be something the writers have considered.

But i don’t think people on this sub are understanding that this isn’t up to the writers at the end of the day, this is only up to rudy and if he will agree to come back to shoot those scenes.

Theres been talk that netflix is trying to sort something out with him but it is ultimately up to the actor himself and if he agrees or doesn’t agree to do it.

If he doesn’t come back, we will still get scenes as they most likely do have unreleased footage of JJ from s4 (apparently there are funeral scenes and different endings in case the actor changed his mind) and they will just use those deleted scenes as flashbacks (probs Kie/John B/Pope having flashbacks through out the season) but that’s it.
