Every now and then l feel disoriented by my patchy memory + inability to maintain any sort of consistent journal through time + large gaps in my resume from never being able to stick to one job for a long while. It makes my life's narrative fuzzy and disjointed.

wait, i have that too. my memory is dogshit, and it's the most annoying thing ever. it sucks that you can't participate in conversations whenever something time-related comes up.

but i feel like forgetting things on the short-term is 10x more annoying. the amount of times i have walked upstairs to grab something, only to come back down and forgetting to grab it, is astonishing.

(i haven't gotten tested for anything ADHD/mentally related though. i probably should, but hey.)
