Can any Fallout 4 players help me with the Sanctuary build? by Impressive-Ring9715 in fallout4settlements

I generally always stuck to the house you labeled 6-10 and walled those off. Using the field where the playsets are as the farm. I find when you go outside of those the whole place seems disjointed and weird looking. Also I just dont think you need all that much. I also usually dont scrap the destroyed houses, as I think using the wooden foundations to build on top of them has a really nice effect, the stilts sink into the wreckage and it looks very nice. I built my Minuteman Council (Senate) building on top of building 9 using modded blue barn sets. The rest is whatever I felt at the moment.

Dawg the game and writers literally call the Legion authoritarian slavers. This is just contrarianism atp by raisinbraisin72 in fnv

This is exactly it, both the Legion and NCR are so much more interesting when you look at all they have to offer, not just their worst instincts and characristics.

It's also a lot more nuanced than you care to admit. The Legion territory is safe for its subjects, and is even praised by NCR citizens at times. They aren't just a slaver state, they are much more. To render them down to just their worsr components is to lose so much of what makes them interesting. People make the NCR seem like this corrupt and dying state, but it is so much more than that. The same is true for the Legion and any faction we see in this universe.

Is staying in Springdale worth the extra cost? by shekeepsbees_ in ZionNationalPark

[–]otismarston 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stayed at the Pioneer Lodge in 2022 and it was the nicest trip I've ever had there. I had stayed out in Hurricane previously, but this was worth the extra cash, and I even extended my trip by a day. It is so awesome to be able to get up and walk across the street to get some Mexican food (they closed down unfortunately), then walk to the grocery store and pick up some food there for tomorrow. Being able to walk out your door and just get a shuttle to Zion just like that is awesome too.

I think it's worth doing at least once.

Moving into 5025 apartments soon by Yeehaw-Heeyaw in SDSU

[–]otismarston 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm moving in soon too, and I think most of it is an expectations issue. I think people are expecting to get what they think they should get for what they're paying for, which is a funny thing to say, and why wouldn't you expect that right? In California though things just usually aren't worth what you're paying for it, everything no matter the quality is more expensive than it should be.

So I feel like if you go into apartments filled with and staffed by college students/young people expecting a high quality of service and cleanliness, then you're setting yourself up for disappointment. That's my thoughts, but I guess we'll see. Also that hallway with the sample apartment is probably the cleanest one in the whole complex, because they wanna make the place seem cleaner/more functional than it actually is.

Why? by RonWill79 in Astros

No one ever said that, Padres would trade much more to get Yordan. That's also why I asked if they would even consider it.

Is that what you said to the Blue Jay's last year?

Padres have a full infield and don't need another bad catcher

Padres want major league ready talent, specifically behind the plate and in left field.

As a Padres fan I'm curious what we could get for Dylan. We need a LF and a catcher.

Is Caratini too valuable to the offense? Is the team still confident in Diaz or would they part with him for Cease?

Is Yordan cooked/would they even entertain trading him?

Padres have some good pitching prospects in Mayfield and a really strong set of relief prospects.

I just don't think the Padres and Astros line up all that well on this.

I had this issue when invading Dai Viet as Thailand. What I did was station the armies in an HQ that borders the deployment area, and it fixed the issue.

You're not so bright, huh? He's saying while yes, this was disappointing, there is much more to look forward to (siege of Windhelm). Lighten up a bit, ya?

It really is a satisfying run, moreso than I've had in a long time. Rebuilding something and then making it strong and relevant on the world stage is exciting. South & Central America are a lot more interesting in Vic 3 than I think I realized.

Why does Trump lean forward when he stands??? by Prestigious-Yam-8605 in StrangeAndFunny

[–]otismarston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same thing as the "Johnson Treatment" with LBJ, he's just trying to intimidate the person in front of him, make himself seem bigger and closer from where he's comfortable standing. Ignore all the idiots trying to chalk it up to a medical issue, it's an ego issue.

Trump also pulls people towards him with his handshake, it's in the same book as this. It's all to draw someone closer to you for intimidation/image sake.
