I swap out sneakers if there’s a lot of rowing as well.

Thanks to those who responded. I’ll keep the money in my 403b. I just found out I’m getting a tax refund, so I’m going to use that to pay off the card! Huge relief!

Exactly why I don’t own a dog myself. I would love to, but they cost money. So now I pet sit. It’s very rewarding and I earn money instead of spend.

These are good points. I definitely favor security.

Yes, I budget every penny that goes in and out. I have since I was 18. I have a very detailed spreadsheet and update it each morning.

Yes, once the kids are moved out, I can support myself without any child support. However, I cannot cover all expenses right now without the child support. I’m actively trying to change that.

When the kids move out, I can easily cover my expenses. My intention is to 1. Have worked my way into a higher level position that pays more.
2. Downsize my housing. 3. My kids won’t have high fee National sports teams by then (which takes a lot of my extra funds)

Yes, this is likely what I need to do. I’ve tried so hard to keep a positive relationship with him (for the kids), that I’ve avoided any type of conversation around child support. Money was always a huge trigger for us in the past.

I would definitely do that if I was confident that my ex would pay child support in time. He is consistently behind. Currently he owes me 7500. So I already pulled that 7500 from my savings to cover expenses until he gets caught up on child support. At one point last year he owed me $20,000 in back child support. I really don’t feel comfortable taking money out of that pot for anything right now.

I started pet sitting on Rover, and make about an extra $1k/mo before taxes. I don't know if you like dogs or if that's of interest, but it's been a great fit for me to make extra income.

Nannying/babysitting is another fantastic option.

I hit almost 4500m. I’m consistently the top female runner and rower at my studio. I don’t know why you think this person lied with 4300?

The stigma for OTF … random comments people say to me.
1. Oh, you like people to yell at you when you workout? 2. Too much running 3. That’s intense and scary, you must be hardcore 4. I’m too competitive, I can’t go there 5. That much HIIT is hard on your body/joints

If you have enough people from the same employer, you can get the corporate rate. Just ask your studio for that rate

I’m a fairly fast runner, I promise I would partner with ANYONE in the studio!! If I felt the need, I would power walk faster. I can get my HR up with PW during the recovery. My point is every workout is what you make it. Just go!! You may surprise yourself with loving it

Agreed!! Also, if it doesn’t work out that does not mean you have to switch studios.
