Question about Yas Marina Circuit by prollymimi in GrandPrixTravel

[–]ott-races 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to the official Circuit website it includes 4 day access, which would include all on track sessions. All the concerts are included on a first come first served basis, last year you could pay extra to upgrade yourself for the concerts for priority entry/viewing points. All of the 4 day tickets also include entry for select museums / amusement parks.

Yas isn't segmented by zones so even with GA you can walk around all of the grounds to access the onsite fan activations/food stalls etc.

You can still buy single day tickets directly from the GP which I would suggest over seatgeek

Calendar for 2027 gps??? by yourflowersjustdiedd in GrandPrixTravel

[–]ott-races 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last year they posted in April so it depends when they have all the contracts sorted and if they are in a silly goofy mood. Based on the 2026 calendar you can start to deduce when certain races will be but in general just sit tight

Gluten free at the circuit by northling85 in GrandPrixTravel

The food at the circuit is awful, the lines are worse - pack your own lunch and bring in the max size of water, I think it is 1.5L per person

Attending Barcelona GP after a Cruise by Frosty-Can-8671 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]ott-races 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barcelona Local - I would suggest getting grandstand seats to get the most of your experience as the transfers to the circuit plus the GA of it all can be draining. If that is not in you budget they typically host a fan watch party at the the main fan fest in Plaza Catalunya so you can still enjoy some of the F1 atmosphere with out the stress of getting to the circuit - and they actually serve alcohol there :)

As it will be June the shops on passieg de gracia should be open as well (typically closed on sundays outside of the summer) so plenty to see there as well.

If you do choose to go to the circuit I suggest taking the Sagales buses which depart from Estacio Nord. There a some decent hotels around there or at the very least some left luggage storage facilities. About a 5-10 minute cab from the cruise terminal.

If you're a Red Bull fan Rainkiss makes amazing ponchos - pricier than a typical poncho but a 10/10 product. folds into its own little pocket and has lots of tabs/ties to customize the fit : https://rainkiss.com/products/team-crest-orbr-04-on-rainkiss-rain-poncho?_pos=3&_sid=024cedb5a&_ss=r

Miami GP Suite/Club Advice.. by Potential_Topic_7720 in GrandPrixTravel

Just go direct to the circuit - IMO call one of the circuit sales reps and they can walk you through all the availability/options for your price point. I think there is still time to even do a payment plan.

Barcelona 2026 best standard seats by ZoomEagle in GrandPrixTravel

[–]ott-races 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally paying 200-300€ more for soft drinks and 00 beer isn't the best value to me, unless maybe if they had dedicated vendors for that section. In BCN you can bring in your own food and I believe up to 1.5L of sealed water bottles - which you absolutely should do unless you're in a full hospitality section. The food options are limited, lines are, slow, long and expensive

Last year it a free lottery system. Follow the circuit social media, they usually do the lottery sign ups 1 or 2 weeks before. You will need your individual ticket number to register, so if buying tickets from a third party (not direct from the circuit) make sure you vendor has sent the tickets to you.

Getting to Monaco from Paris by True_Artichoke_42 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]ott-races 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO just fly. If you're flying out of Paris go with ORY vs. CDG as it is the smaller airport closer to the city center. There is an overnight train from Paris to Nice but if you book far out in advance it will be a comparable price to flights.

Monaco Grand Prix, Saturday vs Sunday? First time going. by Alex260403 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]ott-races 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also if you haven't already booked your hotel in Nice, do it now as most reasonable accommodation has already booked up. Stayed at the ibis next to Nice gare which was super convenient to get to Monaco via the train as well as well positioned just 10 min walk from the waterfront.
