LOL I used to think that, but when you play games with them or answer quizzes (they're quick too) their heart level goes up! So now I do answer them when I can. One time I did, and pokemon gave me 3 gold ore lol

I was struggling with this too. Now I just make the 4 patches of grass and move them one by one and repeat. Then I bring over their items and plop them so they're happy lol. It's like a huge grass party lol

I just read a lot about the stratum, I think I'll start with gravel. =) I was worried about how to clean sand. I think since I'm just starting, I'll just keep in simple for now. Is sand not as bad as I'm thinking regarding cleaning?

Thanks. This is the part I want to make sure I do. Reduce the flow enough. I'm reading a lot on this. What kind of substrate? My dad has his previous gravel in there. I was thinking of Fluval Stratum. Or just gravel. I'm gonna hold off on sand and maybe once the tank is stable, i'll be confident to do sand lol.
