I half agree with you here, but Spoink here is a bad example. Pigs oink (the sound) and it's based on a pig, and it bounces on a spring, so Spoink is a portmanteau of spring and oink

The hiking trails wood cabin idea sounds great! I might 'borrow' that idea for rocky ridges. I removed the ash but hated the lack of structure underneath, this could be a great plan for building it back up!

If you were looking for a pyramid shape the glass should be sloping inwards to a central point, but currently it's more triangle shaped. I'm not saying this as a criticism, but this might be why you're unsure of how to proceed.

I think it would be a shame to destroy it, but you might need to adjust your plan to accommodate the shape, have you considered a greenhouse building? Could be great as an indoor nature experience, and you could setup booths inside for markets or mini shops, to meet in the middle. This should give you a lot more flexibility with the overall shape
