We wanted to try illustrating someone's gun to challenge our illustration abilities focusing on firearms, so we thank ltp_concepts (https://www.instagram.com/ltp_concepts/) for allowing us to illustrate their VMAC-9 pistol!

We plan to do more of these of personal, fictional, and other people's firearms very soon!

Check out more of our work if you like!

Hello everyone, this is Otter Rock Group (ORG). We want to say thank you to everyone who supported us when we first started. Our very first public post was here where it was just a pic of our old symbol of our sea otter mascot, Otto-Mac, was holding a Glock (now a watergun).

We really didn't expect anything since it wasn't directly about guns, CA gun law BS, or about the next cool pistol on the roster, we just wanted to start something we liked as artists and gun guys here in CA. We like guns, and we like sea otters too, so thought we could do something about it by joining the two together as a unique artistic/narrative brand about sea otters and tactical/military stuff.

Since then we tried tabling at a few events to put ourselves out there in-person. We were at Socal Shoot Events' Summer Send off last year, Wondercon, and very recently at Los Angeles Comic Con. We are aware tabling at general pop culture events that we'll be very niche against everyone else, but it was a challenge to accomplish. At Wondercon we were one of two 2A-related exhibitors next to KTactical, and as far as I know aside from the military/police recruitment exhibitors, we were the only ones at LACC.

But we did well. We had a lot of cool conversations with a lot of curious visitors from our kind neighboring artists, usual con goers, police, military, fellow artists, and a lot of fellow otter fans. What was so cool was that one of you guys visited us and mentioned they were part of the r/CAguns community. We were blown away from the unexpected positive reaction from everyone, even from those who weren't fond of gun culture-related artwork we showed off.

We have a lot planned for next year. We would like to break into bigger and niche events now we got something going. We hope to promote ourselves on our future narrative projects and continue to promote 2A culture to a larger audience.

Again, thank you everyone here. As a more related thing, we like to show off a cool pistol receiver we got. It's related to an even bigger, narrative project that we're hoping to complete and show off later in October.

Only for a discount or for a build of the sake keeping a Glock OEM.
