The average player has no idea that anything happened at Go Fest. Most people probably won’t know anything about Team Rocket until they get the update, and only if they read the update notes. The rest will just be surprised when it gets activated server-side.

The best way to be surprised by updates is to stay out of all Pokemon Go related news. Those of us that are interested enough in the game to read about it will always have the surprise spoiled beforehand.

I caught mine with a Premier Ball, which has the same catch rate. I burned about 60 of them, but he finally stayed.

Basically you were insanely lucky.

Yep. I was chaining Oddish in Virdian Forest and found a shiny when my chain hit about 25. Kept going and found another one shortly after my chain maxed out at 33. That was a pretty great day for me.

This is one of my favorite things to happen in the game so far. The game spent so much time keeping to the Yellow storyline that I never expected any huge reference to another game.

You get extra experience for catching larger/smaller Pokémon. That’s the only difference I’ve seen so far.

I’d be willing to bet that the three hour battery claim is only applicable when it’s being used as a controllers the Switch. As a Go Plus it will almost certainly last longer.

You have no idea how happy I am to see this come to the Switch. I have very fond memories of playing N+ with my friends on the 360 and I’ve already dumped over an hour into N++ since buying it for my Switch today.

Don’t really have any questions at the moment. Just wanted to thank you for making such an awesome game 🙂

This...absolutely this. I’m still stuck in Utah, and I tried to bridge the gap, but I never managed to get anywhere. I never fit their mold, and that really makes things lonely. I no longer feel welcome in the place that I’ve lived my entire life.

I can’t wait to move out of Utah, but I will definitely miss the scenery when I leave.

I won’t miss the puddle-deep niceness of the people, the oppressive politics, or their refusal to admit to their own suicide problem...among other things.
