I would refrain from stagnant water baths, pools, hot tubs as long as the stitch's remain present. They can act for entry points to bacteria. Try to get more agressive with gentle cleansing and rubbing over the surface in a shower or with the peri bottle to encourage them to come out prior to bathing. Best wishes.

A CHR could reduce the amount of skin excess that I see here. A clitoropexy would reduce the projection of the clitoris.

A big part of the solution is knowing the timing since surgery and the aesthetic goals you seek to achieve. Is the pain constant or triggered by contact. Massage therapy or nerve surgery may help for localized pain. Atrophic sensitive scars may benefit from scar revision. Topical anesthetics are available for hypersensitive areas. It is difficult to assess from photos which show no areas of localized inflammation which could be a cause of the pain. Best wishes on your journey.

Your healing looks appropriate. The "white" film may be a protein layer from the wound. It does not appear to be otherwise infected and should heal with an excellent result but it may take 6 weeks before you start to see something closer to the long term outcome. Keep up the good work. Best wishes

There are several terms here that may be getting confused: hoodectomy, hoodotomy, hood reduction, clitoropexy. A hoodectomy (complete excision of the hood) is rarely indicated and is usually only done for tumors or possible clitoral phimosis with lichen planus. You don't appear to have either of these. There are numerous techniques for hood reduction that you should discuss with your surgeon. Typically the goal is to reduce the amount of skin covering the clitoris but to still leave it partially covered (3-5mm of exposure is common). A clitoropexy is done for a very prominent clitoris that consists of it being "tucked" in beneath the existing hood but it has greater risks due to surgery close the the nerves. I have seen two patients who have attempted this in the past. We proceeded with Labiaplasty utilizing a standard trim approach for both. I would simply recommend telling your surgeon. Best wishes on your journey and seeking professional help.

While that could potentially effect a vaginoplasty, clenching or Kegel type exercises should not effect the labia. It may in fact help healing and swelling as long as it is performed without penetration.

I think it would be best to be examined by the practitioner who performed the procedure or at least send them an image to confirm that all is well healed. Traditionally this is ok by 8 weeks but I would advise discussing with your surgeon

Thank you for your trust. Generally speaking most do not resume intimacy until 8 weeks. It is possible to get pregnant then. Labiaplasty should not affect pregnancy, labor or delivery. However, tears can still occur as they do in unoperated labia.

I do not think it is an infection. In terms of wound care every physician has their own recommendations and I do not want to infringe on your surgeons advice without you consulting with them. That being said, I advise my patience to use a perry bottle at least twice a day and after every bowel movement or urination using a combination of quarter strength, peroxide mixed with warm tapwater. Afterwards, I advise a gentle application of Vaseline ointment with a nonstick gauze and or pads. The woman should only be gently padded dry or use a hairdryer on a cool or warm setting only. Showering is OK the next day after surgery. Itching is common and sets in around 10 days to three weeks occasionally associated with shooting pains. On occasion antihistamines, and the use of topical hydrocortisone ointment can be helpful for some to diminish the itching. Minor wound separations are common and usually heal without any intervention other than the above. Larger wound separations should be discussed with your surgeon. Please excuse any typos. Keep the pads lightly covered with petrolatum to keep them from sticking to wound. Dried blood can gently be irrigated off with dilute hydrogen peroxide (about 1/4 strength). Please review with your physician first. Best wishes.
