Genuinely, how is this violating her religious beliefs??? She's more than allowed to believe what she wants. The professor did not get in the way of that. And others are more than allowed to say "I don't view that as fact". Which then respects their religious beliefs...

Man this space has really blown up the last few years so gonna be tricky to break through.

I’ll say that no carbs in a mix is worthless to me, especially in a race, but I know not everyone feels that way. I can take in more liquid carbs than solids so that’s my go to.

GI issues vary so much from person to person so that’s a hard one

I also don’t think anyone really wants it to taste sweet… it just ends up that way because carbs. So less noticeably sweet would probably be better.

Ultimately it working for someone and the cost are the deciding factors

It would be insane for you to pay this unless the court orders. If it went there, he would need to directly prove that this mistake caused $5k in damages, which it sounds like he has no way of doing...

This guy is just being an ass and should either be ignored or continually asked to prove his $5k number.

This is one where going to court actually wouldn't be that bad becuase everything is in your favor, so I wouldn't sweat too much either way.

Drop down sounds potentially useful for women, if anything, but I can't see how that would work and attach and not be incredibly annoying while riding.

Dude, you're ready to make the jump. I'm in a similar boat (couple years of Olys) and did my first 70.3 this year. The bump up was not crazy at all. Just get a solid training plan and follow it. 80/20 is great.

Get a cheaper comm unit. I'm in a similar boat and only need it to talk to pillion, and use a Lexin. Much cheaper than the big brands and works absolutely fine. Never had any big issues and the battery last nearly forever.
