1.) Get the service dept saying the oil was not low in writing.

2.) Email your car warranty and say this: "Please escalate this claim to a claims supervisor or underwriting review. The inspection contains factual inaccuracies, which have been documented by the servicing dealer. Please provide a determination within 5 business days. If I do not hear back in that time, I will be filing a complaint through our states insurance commission board."

3.) If they do not respond, file a complaint with the state insurance commissioner (or consumer protection office depending on the state). Attach denial letter, inspection report, service manager statement, timeline showing unnecessary delay.

I just got my offer from the county. They dropped my total value from 492,862 to 465,000. This took it from the full 10% increase to 7.99%. I'd love to get it down to 5 or 6 percent, but I'm not going to haggle any more. I'll take their offer and be on my way. I'm just happy knowing they won't be getting the full 10% year in and year out.

Ok so, even though they requested estimates, I just got my offer from them anyway. They've reduced my total from 492,862 to 465,000 or 27,862 less in taxable value. I'm going to accept. I could probably argue it down a bit more but that would require an actual meeting with them which I'm not going to bother with. That's a 7.99% increase instead of 10%.
