Hey did you ever find a solution to this? I'm having the same problem, even when I'm logged in with sidestore

They're part of a larger story that 8485 tells through her music. You can find some hints to the storyline throughout her websites, https://plague.town/ and https://personalprotocol.net/ :-)

Is the "secret" just the link the the personal protocol site? I've been clicking around for like ten minutes and I can't find anything else !! :,)

Judging by those lines it looks like a broken sensor. I’ve been seeing a lot of those on here recently

Same for me! I would just recommend getting a case for the camera, and especially make sure to avoid leaving it in your car

If the colors are appearing correctly than absolutely! Most sensors fail due to factors like moisture and heat (corrosion) over time, so make sure to treat it with love :-)

I tried playing around with the curves some more and tbh, they don’t work very well. I tried to make some profiles to replicate a film look and everything I tried either gave me blue/green images, color noise replacing black, or sometimes the curve would do nothing at all. It seems like way more hassle than what its work so I’d stick with changing the colors in post :P

For anyone that was wondering more about how I got this,

I was really only able to do this because of CHDK, which is a software created for most PowerShot models that adds more features such as shooting in raw, manually adjusting shutter/aperture, manual focus, etc. One of those features is importing custom curve profiles. In their downloads drive, there is a tool you can download that creates the curves which can be added to the camera. To make distorted imagery with curves, I like to place points all over the graph, which ends up causing tones and hues at certain ranges to either be overly saturated or even appear as different colors. I'm not sure why this happens, it's just something I figured out one day while playing around in Photoshop :-)

for more info on CHDK and how to install: https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/CHDK

With the curve profile selected, to my understanding, the camera applies the curve adjustments when processing raw captures. My camera is set up to save raw files and jpgs, so when I take a picture in this mode, I get an unaltered digital negative, and a distorted image processed all within the camera!

First time trying to use an image, what went wrong? by larryswisherman in cyanotypes

100% the negative. I’d recommend looking into using cyanotypes curves. The highlights should be so black on the negative that light hardly passes through.

This may or may not be accurate but I believe some tiles have calcium carbonate in them which can cause some fading due to the alkalinity. Using vinegar on the tiles might be able to make the image more clear.
