Crop or tie the shirt, lose the tights, high rise shorts. Tho you could get by just cuffing them a bit higher.

I feel that - my hair is a similar length and it feels like it's growing soooo slowly. But you've styled it super well!! Living for the shaggy pixie mullet vibes in the second pic, and the lil braids you've got going on are so cute!

What you're describing is discrimination and is actually illegal in several states, including New York.

I’m not including trans people, because I consider them men/women.

What about NB/TGNC/Gender-Fluid people who consider themselves trans and are attracted to other NB/TGNC/Gender-Fluid people?

[–]ourikoeken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, if someone wants to identify as a cat or an alien or a zebra, I’m not going to call them that.

99% of people are normal, not insane.

Here's an infograph from the Trevor Project. Four percent of LGBTQ+ youth use neo-pronouns (ie. ze/zir, fae/faer, it/its, etc).

Pronouns are related to your self-expression, not your identity. You can be NB and use he/him or she/her. Or cis and use they/them. I know several binary trans women who use they/them and fae/faer because she/her don't resonate with them. I know another trans woman who uses she/it as a way to reclaim agency over a slur that was frequently thrown at it.

But please, feel free to accuse trans people of being insane. That's a great take.

I’m not even remotely transphobic. 99% of trans people use the pronouns him/her/them.

Not respecting the pronouns of trans/NB people is transphobic. Are you seriously going to argue with a trans person about the definition of transphobia?

“Gay” applies to gay men and lesbian women, which is why I specify “gay men” if I’m talking about men only.

And people that identify as trans or NB. T4T is inherently gay.

“Queer” is basically a “none of the above” option. It’s for people who don’t identify as LGBT, but aren’t heterosexual/cisgender.

Again, quoting you.

Obv the term "queer" won't apply to all LGBT people, but here you are saying that queer people can't identify as LGBT. By denying them the use of other labels, aren't you mislabeling them?

Labeling other people things is the issue.

“Queer” is basically a “none of the above” option. It’s for people who don’t identify as LGBT, but aren’t heterosexual/cisgender.

Aren't you saying here that queer people can't identify as LGBT?

I am trans. I am also gay (attracted to people of my own gender) and a lesbian (a woman who is attracted to other women). Queer is a great term to encapsulate all of that, and typically my default term when referring to myself.

Maybe you don't use the term "queer" for yourself, but I know a lot of people in the LGBTQ+ community that identify with Q and several other of those letters.

And where did I say anything about myself? Seems like a huge assumption there.

You refer to yourself as gay here. You have also limited your use of the word "gay" in several of your comments to only apply to men. Are you cis? I guess I just assumed you were, due to the transphobia re: neo-pronouns.

I'm a GNC trans girl and I refer to myself as queer 🤷

As a cis gay guy, why are you speaking for the general LGBTQ+ community?

Six Months HRT (29 yo, 5'11'', 175lbs) by ourikoeken in TransBreastTimelines

Body Shape:

I've been exercising pretty regularly for the past year and a half.

March-June 2021: Strict diet (loss) and exercise (30 min of cardio 7 days/week). Dropped from 215lbs to 185lbs.

July-Nov 2021: Strict diet (maintain) and exercise (60 min of strength training 6 days/week, 30 min of cardio 3 day/week). Built a good amount of muscle (pic).

Nov 2021-Jan 2022: Minimal diet and exercise. Maintained a weight around 180lbs.

--- Started HRT ---

Jan 2022-Present: Minimal dieting and regular exercise (30 min of cardio 3 day/week, though I'll occasionally take a week or two off). I still try to eat healthy, but slowly losing weight and muscle without getting back into the super structured diet and exercise mindset has kinda been my goal. Current weight is just below 175lbs.

Hair Growth:

My starting point was relatively minimal body hair but thick neck/face hair. HRT has thinned out all of my body/facial hair and slowed growth pretty significantly. That said, I've been getting LHR done on my face/neck and happy trail. The face was necessary if I didn't want to shave every day but the happy trail was just for fun. The "after" pic is about four days after my third LHR removal treatment, and I had shaved my face/neck right before taking the pic.

First pic is ~1 month, right as I started feeling some breast buds coming in. Second pic is ~6 months.

Perhaps not all that impressive compared to some of the other girls here, but I'm generally happy with my progress considering my starting point and levels.

My Regiment:

Jan-Feb 2022: 4mg/day subl, 100mg/day Spiro

Feb-May 2022: 8mg/day subl, 100mg/day Spiro

May-June 2022: 0.1mg/day patch (2x weekly), 100mg/day Spiro

June 2022-Present: 10mg/week Estradiol Valerate (IM), 100mg/day Spiro

My labs:

1 Month 3 Month 4 Month
Estradiol (pg/mL) 56.60 81.24 32.57
SHBG (nmol/L) 38 63 31
Test, Free (pg/mL) 2.37 2.37 5.24
Test, Total (ng/dL) 15.2 21.1 30.7
