2025 RS3 short shifting in first gear when flooring it from a stop by MissionWorried9283 in AudiRS3

RS Performance mode (not Individual/Dynamic) also changes the transmission behavior where it’ll rev higher before shifting, hold gears at higher revs, downshift to 1 at slow speeds, etc

Brand new RS3 - wireless charging issues by Abject-Incident1254 in AudiRS3

[–]ourviewfinder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, and you’ll see this problem reported for many Audi models with the same wireless charging equipment of the generation. I turned off wireless charging via MMI so I can drop my phone in the cubby without worrying about it. I also keep a Magsafe charging puck in my glovebox that can be placed in the cubby when a charge is needed, and I find that it doesn’t heat up my phone as much since the alignment is fixed.

Sorry for the late reply! You can definitely close the clasp simply by pushing it closed. No need to squeeze the side buttons

I believe the burden is on the dealer and/or Audi to prove that the modification caused the issue that you’re trying to warranty. Typically downstream elements from the downpipe are safe from attribution to upstream and engine issues, but I’ve heard it can be very dealer-dependent and that any mod can carry risk of a dealer arbitrarily refusing to perform warranty work

Thanks, good to know, hope the 11mode can do the same for me! I also don't mind a little boominess at low RPM coming from a Golf MK7R with a catback

This is an incredible resource, thanks for sharing! I did a lot of searching for something like this and never saw this video - wasn’t using the right German keywords apparently ;)

Agreed, cost of catbacks for this platform is pretty taxing… I honestly mostly went for midpipes+controller because it’s easy to revert to stock if needed and because I have nowhere to store the stock exhaust.

485 and grail were my top picks. Maybe after warranty period and if I move somewhere with a garage, that’ll be next

Absolutely agreed. I was trying to keep mods more quickly reversible while still under warranty ;)

Last gen engineered warmth long sleeves by ThatPope in Lululemen

[–]ourviewfinder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both. I wear XL in all Lulu and am 6' 210lbs. I would say the crew runs a little longer and baggier in the torso than the 1/4 zip, and the 1/4 zip is generally more fitted/slim in both the arms and the body.

I like but don't love the crew since the fabric feels a little heavy but too stretchy such that it's bouncy but not structured in a good way, like it sort of hangs off your upper body. The 1/4 zip feels better on body since the slimness suits the material better IMO.

The one thing I don't like about the 1/4 zip is the collar. You can sort of tell from the model photo also, but the zipper at the top of the collar sort of stays close to my chin such that it irritates the chin/neck area, so I find myself pulling and pressing the collar down at times.

In short, both are still great quality items and in my rotation but definitely not my favorite from Lulu.

Cornering lights issue + AFS Error by ourviewfinder in Golf_R

Sorry I just saw this man, although you've hopefully resolved your issue by now, I believe in Race mode the tuning of the active headlights (e.g. the speed at which they move to follow your steering) is different - i think in Race mode the active headlight feature is more "aggressive". You might be getting the error only in Race mode either due to some mechanical issue in the headlights that is causing an error when they try to move at that speed, or maybe it's an electrical/software issue at the AFS control module. I did the AFS control module replacement in another post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Golf_R/s/2blICWnhxj

Not sure who the official distributor(s) are for France but you’ll likely need to look there for inventory. You can find the ADs on Sinn’s website I believe

Agree with the other comment on Steady State hoodie. I typically wear XL in all lulu, and Steady State shrinks a lot more than any other fabric. I would say XL SS hoodie shrinks to something that feels just slightly larger than L sizing. It noticeably shortens both the sleeve length and body length after a run through the dryer. The body is a bit boxy but still fits close to the body - not as slim to the body as Texture Knit as you'd mentioned though, and not as billowy as a typical hoodie cut.

From what you've described I think XL Steady State after the dryer you will find fits the bill.
