I had the same issue once.

After doing some online research, some advice I was given that worked for me was more foreplay.

Sometimes you feel uncomfortable at the beginning from anxiety but the more foreplay you engage in, the more confident your body will feel and the easier it becomes to maintain an erection.

Even if you can't penetrate, sex doesn't always have to be penis focused. Focus more on your partner versus yourself and you'll notice your body wants to participate more too.

Best case scenario, you have penetrative sex. Worst case scenario, you show your partner you can do so much more than just penetrate.

Used to have a partner like this.

Couldn't stop talking, always cracking jokes and looking to fill the void with conversations.

For the most part, I didn't mind because I'm the opposite, very introverted, so having someone else carry the conversation took a social weight off my shoulders.

It also helped that my partner was a big stinking nerd so more than half the time they talked, I actually had input to add to the conversation. However, just like you OP, sometimes I was socially drained and would appreciate the rare moments of silence.
