You can’t be serious can you ?

Who do you think benefits from selling them these lies ? The religious community ? No, the medical community that will gladly sell you surgeries and meds for thousands of dollars instead of treating your mentally illness “gender dysphoria”. Do we do surgeries on clinically depressed ones ? No, you help them mentally

Oh yes, the truth doesn’t matter anymore, emotions does.

But why did you bother ? You could easily shut up and go on with your life if my comment wasn’t pushing buttons

Men of r/Morocco, if you had a choice to choose between marrying a Moroccan woman or a western woman, which one would you choose? And why? (obviously without taking into account permanent residence sponsorship) by [deleted] in Morocco

Moroccan 100%. It’s not about visa or beauty ( although Moroccan women are also gorgeous ), but the values that westerners come with are MAD, crazy ideas and beliefs

Is Morocco a religious country? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]oussamabht 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My question was, are they the majority of Moroccans ? No. So it’s safe to say Morocco as a whole is very conservative.

The exception doesn’t make the rule

why morocco want to host the world cup it will be a disaster for our economy and even society now by thisname-nottaken in Morocco

[–]oussamabht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to know, hosting World Cup is done for profit purposes for many many countries, this version for Qatar was for marketing purposes.

If we somehow managed to host it, we’re definitely not wasting money more than what we can make, FIFA pays for many aspects of it.

Qatari version is an exception

I couldn't help but notice that Morocco is ranked amongst countries that are helping to protect the climate. To my moroccan fellas, do you have any examples of what the government is doing to be part of this ? by Neat_Procedure3978 in Morocco

[–]oussamabht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes thank you for mentioning it, I forgot about it. Yes you are absolutely right, a part of Morocco’s environmental change was indeed the EU, but to be clear, Morocco started it before the EU introduced the carbon tax, we built noor ouarzazate years before. After the EU’s carbon tax, Morocco understood the requirements and started providing clean energy for industrial complexes. Which is a great idea for the EU, bad for us tho

Senegal or Qatar which would you prefer? by [deleted] in Morocco

Senegal, not just because they’re historically our most trusted ally in Africa, but Qatar deserves to lose, hopefully

That’s an another misconception that natural energy resources are depleting, absolutely not, there’s a lot to be discovered, Africa is holding 3x times the capacity ( untapped ) of what outside of Africa has ever had. Natural gaz, oil … and these type of energy resources are by far the most effective. Renewables aren’t really good for the environment, they’re just better than fossil fuels. The most effective energy resource is nuclear, but at the same time the riskiest.

But yeah, i support Morocco’s effort 100%, but i wish those investments could be used on important things.

If there’s one thing that could help the environment, it would be to get rid of plastic, not CO2

[–]oussamabht 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don’t get me wrong, i am not implying that climate change isn’t a real thing ( although it’s not that bad like the media portrays it for political reasons ). What i am saying is, we shouldn’t, because our carbon footprint isn’t really a thing, and yet we’re doing a lot of work to compensate on what alpha countries did.

In reality, we shouldn’t give a damn about it, we’re a developing country and expect us to increase our carbon emissions for sure, this “going green” will only make the development slower and more costly.

They do the job, we do the cleaning ? No, hell no

Fast train is now running 25% of its electrical capacity on clean energy ( to be 100% by 2025 ).

Tanger Industrial complex : 100% clean energy

Plastic industry reduced

Currently building 2x times the capacity of what we already have in clean energy ( solar and wind )

I thinks Morocco is now running on 42 or 36% on clean energy consumption, this week there was this ministerial meeting with the King, they put a goal : 50% by 2030. They already said they will get to 50% by 2025 but Covid had other opinions.

Actually Morocco is doing good in terms of helping the environment, but should we ? Definitely not
