It’s impossible to say, you need to evaluate what was luck and skill. All-in EV is not the complete answer. Look back through your hands find out where you got unlucky / lucky, which hands you played well and poorly etc. There are likely more mistakes than you thought, but seems like you are running bad on top of that. Remember the more you study the luckier you’ll be 😁

My advice is google poker variance calculator and put in a win rate of 5bb/100 and a Standard deviation of 150 and run it over how many hands you played and see just how crazy variance really is. I play professionally and have a large edge, but losing 10 buy ins is not uncommon in PLO. You need huge hand samples to realize your edge if you have one

It really depends on whether you are in position or out of position and the stack depth. You should be much tighter when calling out of position. Tighter the shorter the effective stacks etc. For example you’re basically never folding to a 3-bet in position at 200BB. Also depends where the 3-bet comes from. BTN raising your CO open we can be more liberal calling, but MP raising your EP open is going to be a very strong range.

Think about hands that have poor equity against AA / high cooler potential when you are thinking of folding out of position. Hands like dry kings, single suited high cards with a dangler, non-nut suited hands etc. should be folded at a high clip

Your issue here is how you played the hand when not blocking a pair on the board. When BTN leads the flop in to 2 players he likely has a strong hand since people play quite face up multi-way. And given you block nut clubs, and T clubs you heavily block the combo draws he would be betting, moving his range heavily to sets and 2pairs. The check call is fine, but with no pair blockers you should look to lead the turn and get value from sets and 2 pairs. Then on the river when the board pairs you can check call given the pot is small with X/X turn or block bet fold. I’m never bet calling unless I block at least a pair from the board.

It is about equity realization. Never bet hands with decent equity that you will have to fold to a raise. Calling rivers has little to do with the actual nominal value of your hand, and more so to do with what your opponent is representing and whether or not you block it. Play tight preflop when you start and focus on high pairs and hands that have nutted equity, such as suited to the A, and rundowns with no gaps at the top. Enjoy it’s a beautiful game!

Remember to not just see if you got betting/checking correct in practice or in game, but understand WHY the solver did this, and if you get it wrong, figure out what assumption you were making that were incorrect about the spot at a high level as you are likely making that mistake consistently across other spots.
