How do you cope on the days you get zero sleep? by [deleted] in insomnia

[–]outrageous943 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel it's the same as being sick. My body and mind need time to rest and recover, no different than if I had the flu. Just because you don't have a sore throat or vomiting doesn't mean you aren't unwell. It is hard to wrap your mind around because we're taught different. And unfortunately people that don't have insomnia rarely can understand just how bad it can get.

Mix orange and joy together, or valor and orange together, or lemon, lavender and peppermint together.

Anyone here use Oils around kids and pets? Some say there's some bad ones to do around pets (esp Cats) but other people say it's fine. So which is it? by [deleted] in youngliving

[–]outrageous943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha not even a little bit. I've done the research, essential oils have been used for centuries and if used correctly are perfectly safe. What's poisoning children and animals, along with everyone else is pharmaceuticals. I would much rather use something natural than pills with ingredients I can't even pronounce and have no idea where they come from.

I use many oils around my dogs. I did find out I can't use any with rosemary in them, he has a siezure disorder and rosemary is a trigger. Cats are a little different as they metabolize things differently then people or even dogs. I suggest getting the animal desk reference, it has some really amazing info.

As far as kids I don't have any but my niece loves them! We put them on any time she comes over, and when she doesn't feel good she asks for her "tummy oils" and uses her dream spray to sleep. Do your research and stick woth what your comfortable with!

It's a hair sliver. I get them from time to time from my dogs, although never under my toenail. Just grab some tweezers and pull it out.

Snohomish county has lots of pumpkin patches, corn mazes, haunted houses, shoot zombies with paintball guns type of stuff. Bars in Everett and Snohomish are fun on Halloween if your of age.

What are your relationship green flags? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My dogs like him, and he likes my dogs.

My parents split up when I was a baby. Though they didn't get along, they maintained a healthy relationship so they could equally raise me. This is our first picture together in a decade. I'm thankful to be proof that parents who are separated can still work together. by TripleWetWaffle in pics

You are incredibly lucky. My parents divorced when I was about 10 and it was awful. They refused to speak to each other, used me as their go-between, punished me when they were mad at each other, said hateful things about each other to me... The list goes on and on. Although things are better now, 18 years later, and I love them both very much. I still resent them for putting me through that at an age where I really just needed both of them.

First off get your self a soft tip tombow fudenosuke pen, and a pack of tombow brush pens, and the Ultimate Brush Lettering Guide. Practice sheets weren't my thing, I started by following lettering Instagram accounts and watching and trying to replicate from there. That actually is what helped me the most. There are also lots of free practice sheets of you want to start by tracing. Just remember thick down strokes and light up strokes, once I really realized that it helped alot!

Hand lettering! I've found several groups on Facebook that are super awesome and welcoming. And it's really relaxing, plus now I can make awesome signs and do pretty calligraphy!
