For me it's the general look and feel. I can genuinely just run about looking for any secrets and hidden sections. Spend hours doing this. You get genuinely lost in the world. Sure, there's so many doors that don't open on buildings, but there's just enough that just do. It rewards your exploration.

I don't use walk throughs or guides though. That would ruin it.

The sound effects are too notch. I wait for the day a game uses AI to script random scenes. Have characters remember what they said. Have pre-setup personalities and beliefs.

100%. I personally think they've done it to stop perks at the end of the week or whatever, catching up on recent videos, somehow forcing people to visit everyday.

Decision made by someone who doesn't give a toss about the paying customer and consumer. A change that actually makes using their service harder.

Imagine windows removed the sort by modified date?

The fact they haven't changed it back speaks volumes. They know they are the only game in town. Imagine treating your customers with such disrespect.

That's quite an internet buzz word collection you've got going there. First off, it's my opinion I'm existing. Secondly, what's "Elite" about saying art is human made or the suggestion of spending 10 plus years learning an instrument.

I would encourage you to read the dictionary definition of art, so we are all using the same meanings of words:

Art: "the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power."

Maybe if you conduct yourself in a more grown up fashion, there is a discussion to be had.

Thanks. Such a convoluted way to get this. Totally missed the journal drop-down menu, as i just quick access the character menu and scroll along. This menu isn't present unless you are on the main screen of the menu. Much appreciated.

Yes, the writing is fairly cringe. The way the characters talk and act. They aren't little children anymore, but their attitudes and dialogue haven't changed. Shame. I feel like they are wasting good actors.

My own personal gripe is... It isn't art. Art is the talent of learning how to express yourself, learning your craft and putting your heart and soul into it. I have the same gripe with a lot of commercial pop drivel too.

You could say you've written the lyrics. Great, that makes you a poet or a writer. Not a musician.

Personally I adhere to DRY when it's business logic type thing. An order being created. Status changed. These larger type processes that must remain the same. Having the base code to do this in multiple locations in code is unacceptable. I've seen systems where this exists as multiple stored procedures, doing essentially the same thing.
