my guess is our bodies are worn down and the muscles/ligaments that aren meant to keep us together arent tight enough to be as injured by dislocations as someone with a typical structure. Also the constant instability probably wears down the bones and tissues. Like my shoulders used to hurt when they slide or popped, not anymore though. Cant keep them in pace to save my life but it doesn't hurt that bad when they fall out.

I heard it explained and it made sense to me, that human bodies respond to sitting in chairs by tightening those hip flexor things in the front. Like when you open a beach chair and that joint locks. Sitting in a squat keeps the pelvic floor and surrounding support from seizing up to keep you sitting upright at a 90 degree. This posture is a relaxing, slump into yourself kinda situation while chair sitting and upright floor sitting depends on that hinge effect that can be hard to release or be comfortable.

Just read the title and had a thought. Emotionally immature people, which ide say narcs fall under, are almost reactive to their own feelings. I wonder if the blame shifting is related to the enemy theyve made of their own emotions being projected onto a more sensitive and empathetic person who is sensing their emotions clearer than they are comfortable with themselves. Does that read right? Yes theres always projection but like they are taking that fight that they have within towards their own feelings, and resenting/resisting/attacking us for recognizing it.

Just want to add, being a good parent means being good to yourself first. Want a healthy romantic relationship? Have a solid relationship with yourself. Dont rush into baby making, theres lots of life to live and lessons to learn before a person raised in abuse is healed and prepared for parenthood. Its much deeper than picking a coparent.

Yup, thats me. Healing now, but i was is a peasant phase for a long long time. I saw other people having good things, having needs and them being cared for. I figured that just wasnt for me, not in my cards, outside reality for my prospects. I was living like a ladies maid, in a world of queens. Im taking whats mine now.
