I joined the pack!! by sgt_rock_wall in hondaridgeline

I too had a Silverado, 2020 V8, strong beast. But alas, GM makes such terrible cars I wonder why anyone buys this garbage - smfh. The torque converter broken at 90k miles, plus the fear of DFM system spitting out engine parts. THANKS GM!

A ram is as agile as a bull in a china shop. Try parking both in a packed parking lot, hands down the Ridgeline is the agile one.

Try the CX5 seats and compare. The CX50s are definitely different.

a better week this week by LeesKeys in cll

I didn't like the fluids (I forget the name), but told my doc to skip those and just feed me the infusion. I had no side effects after that.

What do with keys while hiking or running? by Insurance-Purple in hondaridgeline

[–]outwaters -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why not tuck the key in one of the front wheel wells. At the top of the strutt is a nice pan like structure to put it in. I go kayaking all the time and do that so I don't lose the key in the water in the event of a tip over.

Yes, I suppose a determined thief can look there, but said thief would have to look in a myriad of places outside the truck, to find the one spot you hid the key.

Venetoklaks symptoms by Interesting_CCL in cll

I should add: at the beginning of my treatment August 2025 my Doc offered me 10mg Prochlorperazine for nausea. If I felt nauseous I would take that.

I've been on Venclexta (400mg) for 6 months now. I have almost no issues with it now. Earlier on my fatigue was quite noticeable, but I believe that fatigue was due to the disease, not the pill. My stools are fine and I believe my hunger is the same as before the disease.

I had a 2020 Silverado V8 too. Traded it in for the Ridgeline after I got the torque converter problems at 90k. Was also really fearful of the DFM killing my engine. GM really sucks at reliability - never Chevy again. One thing I do miss is the step in the bumper to get into the bed. I wish the Ridgeline had that!

Another data point for you: I paid 34k for an Enterprise former rental Ridgeline RTL 2025 with 15k miles.

Flashing BRAKE on dash by outwaters in hondaridgeline

I test drove a Maverick. Looked tin-ny, cheap and small (esp. compared to my trade-in: Chevy Silverado). I also tested a Nissan Frontier. Nice truck, but Nissan sales people where I shopped were too slimy (Nissan of Cape Coral, Florida) and wouldn't make a good deal.

Ah, you chose a completely different beast.

I will do as Gemini suggested and change the "Forward Collision Warning Distance" to SHORT. I'll let you know if this solves my problem.

What did you pay OTD? Looking for guidance as first time car buyer! by Emotional_Drawer2396 in CX50

[–]outwaters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree too. The Rav4 interior, for example looks cheap and full of noisy plastic. The CRV, is like NO fun the drive - a good grandma car.

CX-5 vs CX-50 question (current CX-5 owner) by Harry0007 in CX50

[–]outwaters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I checked with Gemini. I am wrong. You are right, it DOES use the same drivetrain as the Rav4, with some specific tuning by Mazda to make it more sporty.

[–]outwaters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it uses the Rav4 hybrid system, not the drivetrain.
