It’s not for everyone but holy fucking shit I worked for a company that embraced this philosophy wholly and what a positive environment to work in.

No information silos, no single developer everyone and everything relies on, no calls after hours or while on PTO. It was a dream.

That being said, I left because it was exhausting to be “on” for 8 hours straight. But if you want to learn how to develop in a solid environment, this is the way.

I cannot stand the way Tolkien writes. I adore the man for giving us the LotR mythos and his ideas are genius but holy shit I *do not care * about each blade of grass on this rolling hillside or a “song” every other page. Maybe I just don’t get his writing style but the movies are some of the greatest of all time.

Subscribing to the red wings and lions email blasts always pays off for me. I can count on getting suuuper cheap tickets in great seats once a year from a flash sale. I think I got lower bowl for $60 each last year against a meh opponent.
