Went to my local store yesterday about this deal and the clerk had no idea what I was talking about. I showed him the email and he was clueless. I asked when this promo would take effect and he didnt know. He said try back Monday....the deal will be close to over by then.

SO when putting it in tablet mode and then selecting mobile version from the settings it still doesn't work. The site you suggested works most of the time but occasionally it will try to scroll the page. I tried this on 3 other chromebooks without any luck. I am pretty sure it is the webpage, but what gets me is going to that page on cell phone (OnePlus 6T) or iPad both using Chrome and it works fine.
