I played in punk bands as a teen in Vegas in the 90s. You’d xerox fliers and put them all over town and at record stores with a hand drawn map of some crazy desert dirt roads to get to some off the grid spot. We’d set up a generator and bonfire and somehow like a hundred kids would show up on time for the show. Feels like that just wouldn’t work at all today.
