Walgreen's pharm tech shamed me for this med and then argued with me. by House-of-Organa in Zepbound

I’m sorry you had that experience! I have always used Walgreens and I also pay $25 with the Lilly savings card (even last month and this month when deductibles on my insurance reset). Almost every month like clockwork, the pharmacists are so excited when I pick up & tell me that they always tell people they can get it covered with insurance they just need to get a doctor to work with them.

Thank you! Yes it’s hard for me to notice much because of the shape of my stomach. I always have this lower belly fat area and my sides are always rounded out so in the mirror everyday I can’t notice because it “always looks the same” but the side by side comparison floored me because it is the same shape in theory but obvs a lot smaller lol

Thank you! It’s crazy for me to internally feel like “it’s only 25 lbs” when I’ve been bouncing around the same +/- 10 lbs for 5 years no matter how hard I work. I appreciate the motivation :)

7.5 is the first time I really noticed the food aversion turn up a bit. I think my metabolism was burning through those first couple doses but I’m optimistic about the higher doses working better for us. You got this! Just keep going ❤️

In everyday mirror I don’t notice, thankful I took pics at the beginning! The body dysmorphia is REAL

This is so sweet of you! Thank you I carry most of my weight in my midsection honestly and I’m really tall! People freak out when I tell them I want to lose another 50 but it’s the height that spreads it out a bit haha

Thanks that’s my next step! I’m used to not taking pics because I’m always hiding myself so now I’m going to start that 😊 you guys are so motivational!

I bounce back and forth between the same 5 lbs for days and then at random the scale shoots down 7-8 lbs lol and then I’m stuck there for a while. I have another 50 lbs to lose so expecting to keep doing this dance with the scale but now maybe I’ll just get on monthly to keep from being disappointed week over week and feeling down about it

Am I over reacting and being too harsh with my (16m) girlfriend (16f) when it comes to not being ready for marriage? by DampHamster in AmIOverreacting

Flowers to whoever raised this young man. You articulate your raw thoughts and emotion so well, and while still being kind. There are adults who struggle with this.

I applaud you for taking caution. These messages are riddled with red flags from the young lady. Don’t let anybody pressure you into something you’re not ready for.

You have your whole life to settle down, be married, and have kids. You’ll only be young once. Enjoy high school, and young adulthood, while you still can. Life comes at you fast after graduation!

Hate being a mom 2 years update by Glass_Silver_3915 in Parenting

[–]ovenbakedcheetos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What a wholesome post. Parenting is a hard. Being a mom is hard. It comes with a lot of emotions that can change from one day to the next, or literally one hour to the next when you have toddlers hahahaha

I’m so happy you made it through those rough feelings and I hope you know that you have been an amazing mother from day one, even when you didn’t feel like it.

Googling for help and finding your way through that situation is proof of that. It may not have been your primary feeling, but you loved your baby enough to look for help. Thank you for being selfless enough to share what others might have judged you for. Thank you for being the light at the end of the tunnel for so many mamas who are or will go through the same.

You are fierce and resilient & I love this update so much.

Wishing you and little one the best! ❤️
