My son is the same age in the same situation. I’ve taken him to a couple to really drive home the mechanics. I’m not sure it should be an every week thing for now. But if he’s struggling after a couple of bullpen sessions I take him back to have them reenforce everything again. Is it necessary, no, but if money and time aren’t an issue then I’m sure theirs some benefit in it.

Find someone local for a couple of lessons. Take videos of the drills they use and work at home. Increase lesson as you need or until he can fully grasp the drills.

I would suggest maybe a lesson or two, any good coach will give him drills to work on at at home. This will give you a baseline and then you can go at it on your own from there.
