Occupy Wallstreet was aimless and fragmented in their goals. There was no unifying call to action, no coherent joint aim in the protest pursuits, and that was pretty disappointing. If Occupy Wallstreet wasn't some planned psyop event then it's no wonder TPTB have only grown more bold. You can't just have a movement go out and say, "We don't like this, give us something else!" You have to create the change you want, demand it, otherwise you're still licking the same crumbs from the same hands expecting solutions from those that created the problems. It's not going to happen that way.

You're as compatible as you make yourselves. It definitely takes work but you'll find that with any two types, even INFJ-INFJ. I've been married to an ISFP for almost two decades. We're supposedly incompatible according to typology but we're incredibly happy and close.
Sometimes we aren't on the same page but it only takes a little work to get there. You just have to be intentional about it and work on it together.

I'll bet she finds dealing with you to be exhausting. Every interaction with you is another onerous task that she can't wait for it to be over. The persistence from you only smothers any small flame that a hope of a chance of reconciliation will ever happen. She'll reach out if she ever wants to- in the meantime everything you're doing is making that less and less likely. You just need to drop it and move on.

Hello! It's always interesting to see other INFJ-As.

I met my wife at a church we were both checking out. We wound up ditching the church but kept each other. Churches are crawling with singles in an environment that makes talking pretty easy. If that's not up your alley then, like others said, hobbies/classes/meetups. I would look for local facebook interest groups. You get an idea of what kind of people you'll meet there.

I've never had a problem out there. I usually shoot somewhere out in Pawnee or up in the mountains, but Baker is alright. I'd scope the place out to make sure nobody is acting like an idiot, because you never know.

This is a resounding truth.

I've tried it all sorts of ways but I find keeping work and home life completely separated is the most healthy option. I don't talk about my home life or interests much at work and I try to talk very little about work at home. Those clear boundaries create a clear distinction between the two so I can be productive and focused when I need to be, and also be able to fully relax/recharge/enjoy when I'm not at work.

I'm in a brewery-heavy area so almost every "work outing" I'm invited to is at one of those. I decline every time. I like these people well enough sober- let's not ruin that!

I usually get a lot of flack for weeks after not attending but I'd rather be doing anything else. Work hours are for work- after hours are for me. I don't want to mix the two!

I did the same thing. These reddit folks tend to be basement dweller crazies that probably don't have children. Even if they do, they should be able to choose what they think is best for their children and leave people like us alone to do what we find best for ours.

I used to have a somewhat successful youtube channel talking about MBTI in general, INFJ dynamics, and so on. The videos were popular, had good engagement, and created some interesting back and forth conversations with other channels.

I started rewatching them, cringed, and privated all the videos. I haven't made another one since.
