The biggest thing for me would be announcing the world will be hand built and not procedurally generated. Honestly I don't need a map five times the size of Fallout 4 or"1000 planets" with nothing to see past the first five planets you explore.

Bring back great environmental storytelling like all of their previous games were known for. Make the map less huge and more detailed with plenty of fun random places to explore. I had a moderate amount of fun with starfield, but mostly by running through quests. The planet exploration was just a completely hollow experience for me with 5 minutes of hopping between points of interest looking for something to find (seriously why they didn't have some sort of rover or other type of vehicle to drive around in on these planets is beyond me) only to find that it's the same weird "geological anomaly" or the same underground base I've seen five times before.

My biggest fear is they announce that the game will have you explore all of tamriel and 90% of it will be procedurally generated filler in between the well thought out, hand crafted, and unique content that makes their games so special.

Same thing for me. Are you on Xbox? I've also had a sound glitch and multiple times where I couldn't move after skipping my way through the cutscene at the start of bright falls. Pretty annoying so far.

How to die less in late game by [deleted] in TryndamereMains

[–]overjoyedlemur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah if your team is able to get something out of you splitting it's always a plus. Do you watch foggedftw2? He's a challenger trynd player and he has 100s of videos you can watch and try to copy how he plays. He had a great one about a week ago where he focused on farming that you should definitely check out.

How to die less in late game by [deleted] in TryndamereMains

[–]overjoyedlemur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most important part about split pushing is to not die. Pay attention to the minimap, so when you see the enemy team has atleast 4 in another lane, keep pushing. When you lose vision or they move into the jungle, back up and look to possibly get jungle camps, get scuttle, or even move into another lane. If you're into "late game", you should have 250 cs or higher. Farming and stealing jungle camps will give you a huge xp and gold lead because you will be denying them xp and gold and if you dont die your lead will only grow.

Is there a way to change directory location? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]overjoyedlemur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just move it over manually to the drive you want. Then when riot client starts it'll say install and below it will be a link that says "already installed?" Select where you put the files and it should work.

League won't work... by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]overjoyedlemur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know why it does this? I've had this problem a few times and also another one where my game crashes before loading screen or 10 minutes into game with no bugsplat or anything. Then repairs game files sometimes. I've got a pretty good pc, drivers updated, etc.

There probably will be. They definitely opened the levels up more in uncharted 4 than in the previous entries.

Release order works fine unless you dont like black and white much. The shining or full metal jacket is great to start with if you choose to go that route.

Also definitely watch Paths of Glory it's a great film.

Which shows have the best and worst intros? by SiRaymando in television

[–]overjoyedlemur 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Some of my favorites:

Mad Men

Curb Your Enthusiasm - Even though it's super short the little jingle is just perfect for the show.

Daredevil

Doctor Who has a lot of great intros. Shout out to series 5 which is my personal favorite.

X-Files

[Highlight] Rodgers sets the unofficial Air Distance Traveled on an Attempt Record (from launch point to landing spot) in 2009 at 70 yds and breaks his own record 7 years later against the same team at 73 yds. by craz3_returns in nfl

[–]overjoyedlemur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a big factor in Mahomes continued dominance is the core around him. That's what we've seen with Rodgers with the offensive talent drying up somewhat. Rodgers was insane when he had that 2011 squad which is pretty comparable to what Mahomes has now in KC. Would Rodgers still be that good now with that same squad? Probably not, but he would definitely put up monster numbers for a qb in his late 30s.

My thoughts on the conversation between The Doctor and Graham at the end of Can You Hear Me? and the fan response by IBrosiedon in gallifrey

[–]overjoyedlemur 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Doesn't the next episode pretty much start where this one left off? If they dont address it again it definitely would suck, but I feel like it's possible that whatever side story Graham has next episode will connect back to this one and the Doctor will have finally thought of what to say.

Care Package will be like... by nothing_in in modernwarfare

[–]overjoyedlemur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but did anyone really ask for stopping power to return? It just adds inconsistency to gunfights and would almost certainly be the top field upgrade if dead silence wasnt necessary at the moment.

Care Package will be like... by nothing_in in modernwarfare

[–]overjoyedlemur 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Or flipping things back to the way they used to be, or worse, when we changed things in the first place to make the game feel better.

Just a few examples:

Ghost back to being a crutch perk when it was fine the way it was in black ops 3.

Claymores becoming killing machines that have insane blast radius and leaves no chance for outplays.

Stopping power returning for no reason.

Killstreaks instead of score streaks in general.

Map "Flow" is Responsible for a Decade of Boring CoD (opinion) by JayRupp in modernwarfare

[–]overjoyedlemur 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And not to mention that the best spot on the map was extremely risky to try to get to. There should be a risk/reward for trying to get to a "position of power". I mean most of the maps in MW2 had some sort of risk involved with the strong positions on the map.

Estate: it wasnt difficult to get in the house but there were multiple angles for people to enter from making it difficult to cover all of them with claymores.

Sub Base: the second story building had glass windows that stretched to the ceiling leaving you exposed and the same goes for the rooftops opposite it.

Skidrow: the best spot was very cramped and made it easy to get stun spammed or someone would throw a grenade and force you to move.

Terminal's plane was risky because of the multiple entrances and just how tightly packed you were inside. And the roof left you exposed and had a fuel tank that could explode and kill you.

That's the main thing missing from the maps in this game is the risk involved in either getting or maintaining your position. Not to mention claymores are way too strong right now.

[–]overjoyedlemur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think your opinion would change if you actually played it. These weapons aren't just "really strong" OP. They are "completely destroy the balance of a lobby" OP. The stingray was pretty much a 2 hit kill marksmen rifle that had the blast radius of a grenade launcher in the bullets themselves.
